I don't know about the cold weather shooting but I have a Crosman Shockwave Nitro Piston that has always been hard to c0ck so it's not that enjoyable. It seems to recoil more harshly than my springers. I chopped the barrel and stock so now I c0ck it with a cut off metal broom handle.

Did you put valve grinding compound on it?

I'd be happy to shoot those groups at 30 yards.

What do you do about the choke when you cut these down? Is there a thread on that?

What about the Weihrauch HW35K? Anybody know about the barrel length witht the moderator on the end. Is it 410mm all together? If so what is the length of the rifled portion of the barrel? They are out of stock at Krale right now but this one interests me.

I have been shooting one. It had a screw come loose on the cocking arm and was shaving pieces of the stock off. A tiny T6 torx bolt is used as a set screw. It was all loose and accuracy was all over the place. I cut the front of the stock off so I can see and tighten the screw easier. I...

I thought so. The guy there said they sell on the internet for close to $200.00. I said I bet they don't look like that.

Would you have bought this and tried to restore it? They turned down $25.00. If I knew how to work on it maybe I'd give more but haven't been able to make a broken gun shoot yet. I have been able to make a gun that shot not shoot anymore though so you see my hesitation.
