Share the same opinion especially if you are investing in glass for multiple applications. March and Kahles make good glass I just like the team at NF and their customer service is top notch.

No problem. Personally, I use the NX8 or ATACR line but those might be a little pricey. The SHV line would work well in this application. While at 1x the reticle is small on FFP, but if the target is moving the target is not consumed by the reticle which (personal preference) is my choice.

There are a lot of good choices out there that will conceal a setup like the Leshiy 2. Being discreet is another thing, loose the molle webbing, tactical patterns, and side quick draws. Take a look at tennis racket cases those do a great job of being discreet but might look out of place on a hike..

Burris make some good optics and will serve you well. 

Being a little closer in range I'd recommend a reticle that is as unobstructed and clear as possible. The MIL style reticle like you displayed in the first link for the Kahles scope is nice. I am partial to Night Force or US Optics scopes and would recommend NF's MIL R or MIL XT reticle. Link...

Take a look at Geissele, LaRue or SPUHR for the best mounts but might be a little too pricey. Scalarworks is a good option as well.
