Impressive!  What pellet/slug and what velocity?

I've had several Chronographs and I really like the FX.  If you do choose to go with the FX I completely agree with MacGyver that you shouldn't hang it off barrel.  I have hung it off the barrel and off the extended pic rail and it makes a difference.

I've owned several and the only one that has ever worked consistently is the FX.  In addition to just working it has a nice interface with your smart phone.

Completely agree with Xbowsniper. Twist Rate, Harmonics and variance(s) in the crown can each or combined chance POI.

I've been on this forum for a couple of years.  I've seen the Impact, in particular, bashed pretty heavily,  Even so it was still on my short list when it came time for a new airgun purchase.  I was all set to get one of the competing brands but a friend of mine intervened and said he was going to get an Impact and told me why I should get one too.  He said many of the things bigHUN said above regarding the problems aired on this forum.

I figured I'd give it a try and if I hated it I could sell it on the Classified section.  Well, I got it and I love it!  I've shot it nearly everyday since it arrived in May.  Every little thing that has come up has been easily addressed.  There is so much good advice on this forum and so many great "how-to" videos on YouTube.  And yes, I do change and experiment with all the adjustments and have had stellar results.  In fact I'm looking forward to getting home tonight for more trigger time with the Impact!

So, if some asks me I say GO FOR IT!

Now the fun begins!  I've had mine in .22 for my 600mm for about a month and I'm having great results with NSA Slugs, the 31.2 gr especially-

I've had a Superior Heavy Slug liner for my Impact MkII 600mm in .22 for about a month.  Have had great results especially with NSA slugs in 31.2 gr. at 850 ft/sec (100 yrds)

Nick, your slug's are really adding fuel to my obsession with this hobby/sport!  I would absolutely be willing to pay a premium for sample packs with the different diameters within one weight- Hope you can figure out what works- Best, Bob

I was apprehensive about reliability and a bit intimidated about being able to tune it properly but took the leap and got a .22 MkII 600mm.  I've run about 2000 pellets through and I'm nearing the same number of slugs without an issue.  I'm sure I'd be disappointed if I went through what you've experienced.  Even though they are quite different guns I was torn between the MkII and the Leshy 2.  I went with the MkII with the logic that the Edgun would have teething problems and the FX was a gen 2 with the bugs sorted out.  I'm sure the Leshy 2 will be a fine gun but after watching Steve's video of the FX Factory tour it seemed to me the level of commitment was definitely alive and well at FX and I gave it a go.  I'm very glad I did!  I shoot almost every day at 50 and 100 yds and the accuracy across pellets and NSA slugs is beyond my expectations.  These are NSA 31.2 at 100 yds.

Hi Kurt, please let us know how they do.  Gerhard and Matt seem to love them.  I know they have a stake in the game but I bet your results will be interesting!

Thanks Bob_O,  I thought I'd bit off more than I could chew when I purchased the MkII.   I'd never even adjusted the HST on my Airforce Talon in 10+ years of ownership!  I rationalized that with all the info out there I could get a handle on it at some point.  Of all the video's on how to tune yours made the most sense to me.  Simple and straightforward. I'm very pleased with these results and I am going to explore other weights with this set up using your method.  I'm the one who should be thanking you for taking the time to post that video!

One other thing, during the tuning process, instead of hanging the FX Chrony off the end of the barrel I hung it off the front of  the extended saber pic rail and just put the bi-pod right behind it. I haven't seen anyone mention this, I know it doesn't matter for a velocity tune but it seems like it is imperative to have the chrony anywhere other than hanging off the barrel during a harmonic tune-

qball, yeah the 31.2 does eat the air up fast at 151 bar.  I have a couple boxes of the lighter NSA in various weights.  I will give them a try too! -thanks!

Thanks qball,   The .17" is a bit crazy but the thing I'm most happy about is all the groups are pretty good right at 151 bar on the reg.  Hammer on Max right at end of the adjustment range and valve just about 3/8 of a turn from max.  The .17" group was at 858 ft/sec average.  The liner is the Heavy Superior.  Give those 31.2 a try!
