Umarex Exciting NEW Walther PPK/S now being made But....

I asked the question on Google: Will the new Walther PPK/S VFC GBB airsoft ever be sold in US? The answer was yes from 2 Taiwan airsoft vendors, Red Wolf Airsoft and Swit Airsoft. Redwolf said they did not have the pistol in stock, while Swit said they did so I ordered and paid. They said...

Umarex Exciting NEW Walther PPK/S now being made But....

Looks like Umarex Germany has been making a very authentic PPK/S Green Gas airsoft pistol since the fall of 2024. There is a lot of videos on YouTube of the all black pistol that includes a full functioning safety including the de-cocking function, drop out 1:1 magazine for 13 airsoft 6 mm bb's...

Umarex The Walther PPK/S needs an update

I keep waiting for a new PPK/S from Umarex. I contend that they are still making the 2016 version offered in Europe. I've seen them in stock at UK sellers recently, but they can't be shipped due to US State laws- Back perhaps 2 years ago now I found a picture of a PPK/S with a drop out mag...

Let me know about a new design PPK/S air CO2 pistol....

This pistol was the first blow back CO2 bb pistol, so it was very innovative. Being made with Walther added a lot of authenticity. The sealing issues have been a nagging flaw which I think may have led to it being discontinued. The bb pistol is much thicker both in the slide and grip vs. the...

Let me know about a new design PPK/S air CO2 pistol....

Hi James, When you get your PPK/S please read this prior to putting in a tube of CO2. Trust me, I have had too much experience having catastrophic leaks doing this. First get some RWS air chamber lube and put a drop on top of the business end of the cartridge. Holding the gun upright, and...

    Looking for a Walther PPK

I bought my first PPK/S bb in 2002, and kept it going by buying parts from Umarex (USA, Fort Smith, Arkansas). The first ones were distributed by Crosman, and it says so on the slide. In Jan. '23 I finally bought the 2nd gen gun from Pyramyd. After a couple of CO2 tubes it just would not hold...

Umarex Looking for Polyurethane sheets, 2mm thick and 90A durometer for CO2 seals

Looking for Polyurethane sheets, 2mm thick and 90A durometer for CO2 seals The heading says it all but I'll elaborate. I have been successful with 80A durometer poly sheet but the seals will only take about 3 CO2 cartridges before the seals fail. I'd like to try a 90 to see if that improves...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

I got my shipment from the UK, Newcastle on Tyne, where they made the RMS Mauritania long ago, a long time holder of the Blue Ribband for the fastest liner to cross the Atlantic. Are you guys saying that the Crosman gaskets are the same thing as those sent to me by Bagnall and Kirkwood? The...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

Yeah, I saw that triple threat too! Thanks for that though. Trig, you must be an engineer or a gunsmith. Whatever is your line of work it's above my paygrade! I think I'm going to TRY to get slightly thicker polyurethane, ideally 2.25mm to make new seals. I have SUPPOSEDLY ppk/s CO2 seals...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

There is an indentation lip that perfectly fits an 8mm diameter seal at the bottom of the retaining collar. That lip is like 2mm deep so the seal is flush with it as the seal is 2mm thick and makes it a possible gas leak point. If the seal were 2.5mm thick or even 2.25mm it would be better...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

The brass collar is the only chaser I could use and it doesn't stand up well to the steel of the valve body (I think?) It is a very fine thread and likely an exotic pitch. The inside of the valve when you look at the threaded area is devoid of threading where the punches are. This a.m. one gun...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

I got lucky on a hunch today and was able to repair both my PPK pistols. The cartridges went in easily and the 2nd series one was silent - no hiss at all, but when pulling the trigger there was an authoritative POP. About 2014 or so the Japanese subcontractor who made the pistols for Umarex...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

I will send you pictures of the used seals that were in the 2 different PPK's tomorrow. They measure 2mm thick, although they are deformed by the compression of the cart. The not quite round, oval holes measure 4mm. and the polyurethane seems about as hard as the 80 durometer sheet I have...

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

Oh BTW one theory I had is that the point of the piercer has become dull and is not going deep enough so the the seal can't get tight enough to do its job of holding the gas.... Bluemill

Umarex I've gone through a dozen CO2's trying to load two different bb pistols in 2 days.....HELP!

Those Green seals seem to hold up well and load the carts easily. The Umarex Model 29- 44 Magnum A la Dirty Harry uses them as does both the Beretta 84FS and the Makarov Ultra. I have had both latter pistols for several years with no signs of failure and loading goes well too in the drop out...
