It’s about speed not overall fpe where lead starts to blow up. If you are around 1000 feet per second with a 2500 grain slug it will easily be a full pass through even on elk sized game.

Really love the 1 click = 1 bar adjustment. Would make turning way easier and more precise. Hate when I accidentally overshoot my target pressure because I can’t get a small enough turn on the Allen key.

I normally do head shots in the neighborhood. Just not to cause a scene with the neighbors. This one was about 65 pounds.

My family eats about 8 deer a year. They all taste the same to me.

Pass through on a small deer. 75 grain avs at 960. Didn’t need to track. It only went 30yd, but there was a good blood trail.

Nice results, and nothing to complain about. But nothing an $1800 fx can’t do, which looks like the better value. I have been very impressed with the level of innovation from Skout. Interested to see results with various pellet/slug/liner combinations. Thanks for sharing your results.
