Update:
Curiosity got the better of me so I am decided to do a 50 shot string and things opened up. However, the base seems to be in a 875 FPS at around 17.5 FPE. I will be interested to see how it performs on groups later in the week when I get a chance to try a 25 and 50 yarder.
Here is the 50 shot string using the FX Pocket Chrony:

Also, after seeing @sasquatch use shooting sticks, vs laying or awkwardly bracing self made me think, yes, I need / have to have shooting sticks.
@ezana4ce I love the scope. I picked it up on Amazon for $300ish including tax. I love the glass, its definitely clearer than the 3×12 Veyron I had on the prophet, it was definitely worth the extra $60.00 IMHO. Believe this or not, yesterday i had a pellet graze a pigeon at around 50 yards, I could see ONE feather fly and the pigeon kind of looked around, and stayed on its perch. The follow up shot did the job. I need to learn holdover marks, basically everything now, and go from there to get the most out of the gun and scope.

May 14, 2022 at 10:24 am Link@ed24 @ctshooter told me the Uragan barrels generally like JSB stuff but not HN. I have only JSBs. I am going to try both JSB Heavy and Hades, then play with some JSB 10 KO and Mako slugs, plus if time, nsa 12.5 for perks. Idea this weekend is to get to the know the gun.

May 14, 2022 at 8:50 am Link@beerthief Glimmer was stolen from a hotel room and the hotel covered the full cost. Even the AccuTac bipod was taken. I was able to buy Shadow and scope with the money, I already had the rings. With the deal I got on the Uragan from Krale, I have plenty left over to make it halfway to a Leshiy 2.
With that skinny bipod on there Shadow looks like he has been skipping leg day. 😂

May 14, 2022 at 12:47 am Link@ezana4ce I think I’ll be good to a solid 50 yards. Barrel length is 370 mm and the gun has heft for stability. I light tweak the hammer spring a nibble latter on but the weekend I should be good. I still have use of the 25 cal Katran, so if I need a heavier hitter then it’s there.

May 13, 2022 at 9:45 pm LinkMay 12, 2022 at 11:31 pm Link@diaryboy well done and I salute you in your efforts against the Invasives. I had many 70 plus yard shots with my prophet compact 177, I will probably never to be able to replace that guy because of the uniqueness of its 177 CZ barrel. :(.

May 12, 2022 at 1:50 pm LinkYeah, UPS lost their stuff. Krale didn't miss label, the guy miss read the invoice when he made the initial document for US Customs. I thought luchtgeweer meant firearm, luchtgeweer literally translates into air gun in English. Lucht is air and geweer is gun, the price in euros and usd was on the invoice UPS said they didn't have, which was in the email they sent me they didn't have.

May 12, 2022 at 1:30 pm Link@scotty1 Thanks, I am excited about the move, though a ton to plan. Plus I have another gun project coming after Shadow, which will be called Pryvyd which is Ukrainian for "The Ghost".

May 12, 2022 at 12:55 pm LinkUpdate:
UPS Tuesday received the Uragan (aka Shadow) from Krale at their facility in Kentucky, and the guy handling the paperwork flagged the gun needing ATF review because he just read "rifle". So I get an email asking where the paperwork is for importing a "firearm", along with the email was Krale's commercial invoice for import. The word that freaked out was a glitch on invoice using the Dutch word for air rifle, luchtgeweer, even though everything else in the document was in English, even the means of propelling, spring/gas/air, the UPS guy said no ATF still needs paperwork. I explained to the UPS what it meant, even sending him a screenshot of the Google translation, UPS guy said, "Oh I guess you were right", but it was too late. So, because of his mistake, him not listening, and one word, we (Krale and I, by the way the guy handling my "case" was great and patient.) had to resubmit all invoices PROVING it was what it stated it was in Dutch, an air rifle.
So I called UPS this morning asking for an update, they said "oh yeah we got the paperwork yesterday morning, now (meaning today not yesterday) we can the rifle to customs to be cleared." Then 20 minutes after my phone call this morning, Shadow has cleared status on the UPS app. I think UPS got sick of me asking what the status was, and finally decided to do their job, and get the paperwork to Customs so Shadow can come to its new home.
Scheduled delivery is tomorrow, and Shadow's scope arrived yesterday, an Athlon Talos BTR 4x14x42.

May 11, 2022 at 4:29 pm LinkWell, I have to admit I am disappointed on hearing the specs for the Uragan 2 Compact. I think AGT made a mistake not making the U2C in 25 caliber and I honestly believe this would be a very popular variation of the U2C if they did. Or am I wrong?

May 7, 2022 at 11:58 pm LinkWell, I have my “little” Uragan Compact coming. I thought it would be worth the time to try some slugs in it. Here is the following which will be tested.
- Precision Ballistics 10.4 gr. Makos – 2 types (1 is prototype)
- NSA 12.5 gr.
- JSB 13.4 gr. Knockouts
- JSB 10.05 gr. Knockouts
It will be a bit before I get into messing with the slugs at an in-depth levels. Need to know the gun and go from there, I have faith in the CZ barrel.
