Only have .177 , works for me . Slugs are choice ammo but will still use pellets for some posting. My impact shoots hades but krait loves slugs , vulcan 2 either ammo . Hit the right spot and pests don't really care what killed them .

I have pard 008 lrf , 008s lrf and now ds 35 /70 lrf .. No brainer , ds is so good , a real improvement ..

But is there a noticeable difference between the 2 ? Something I would be interested on knowing the answer to !

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago , something different for a change .

I have just picked up my paard 008s lrf , the Eagle vision mount will not work with it . The channel down the middle is too narrow to accept the paard base . Quite a lot better than the 008p lrf it's replacing, some really good ret choices as standard , a lot of scope for the money .

Absolutly poope from my vulcan 2 ,whatever the fps . Group like a shotgun , better of throwing them at your target .

Qys for 10m, they are doing really well. Beyond that I would say Jsb nominate. If you get good results with a particular pellet / slug, stick with it. There might be something out there that would be better but are you chasing something that might not exist. 2

Use the 007 on low mag, if you want higher mag use the paard settings to increase. Ffp scopes aren't good with th 007 paards, sfp are. Better. When setting up an 007 point to the sky and focas to your eye first. High mag on scope equals poor performance, low mag on scope but increasing...

Paard 007, s are very scope critical, I first tried one on a ffp scope and it wasn't good. It also depends on the paard aperture if it 12 or 16mm.,the latter having a smaller field of view. I still occasionally use it on my summer, daylight, setup for when the light fades. Since changing...

Brent, Put. Foam around the area of hammer/spring not a large area to cover but does work. It sounds worse than what it really is as it's close to your ear. 

Same problem with vulcan 2, I have put 2mm sticky back foam sheet over the area to quiet it down. Works well and easily removed.
