Silent, also an intersting insight on failures of the cocking lever, etc. Now I won't be sweating bullets to tighten my hammer spring adjusting screw another 1/2 turn. Not going to tempt fate any more than that though LOL!

Silent, thanks for weighing in. I tried to readjust the clearance at the barrel/scope mount interface, and no luck. The most forward hole is just too small and will touch the barrel when I retighten the assembly. I'm going to have to remove the barrel and ream or and drill the hole diameter. I...

The locking mechanism failed on mine and I returned it. After I found out how easy the rifle was to work on I'm sorry I did. You can perform maintenance and tune it yourself. It's a bit heavy but the most beautiful air gun I ever owned.
