    Moog's New HW 95 .177 Caliber

Can't have too many HW 95s! I also have 2 95s one in 22 and one in 177. The 22 and my r7 in 177 are my current favorite springers. The 95 in 22 is a full custom Paul Watts gun. Amazing shot cycle, at around 18 fp it feels a lot like my 7 fp D 27! You will love the 177 95, the much flatter...

What happens if you put a non-airgun scope on a springer ?

Springers have a unique 2 way recoil impulse. You would be amazed at how this type of recoil can destroy even a stout scope that can handle massive rearward recoil. However some non Springer scopes, the Lupold line springs to mind, ( no pun intended ) will handle the recoil just fine. It's best...

FWB 65 - thanks and apology

A few days ago I requested info about FWB 65 with plastic grips. Thanks to those who responded. Three days ago I got cought up in the Holiday farm fire here in West central Oregon. Had to emergency evacuate in the middle of the night so could not respond in a timely manner. Just wanted to say...

    FWB 65 grips

I have a 65 that has plastic sporter style grip panels. They appear to be oem. Has anyone ever seen this style before? They are quite comfortable in both the right and left hand. Seen lots of target and sporter 65 grips, but always in wood. Just curious if they are known to be associated with...

Weihrauch HW30 (Beeman R7) Drop - in Tune Kit - - Which One?

I can recommend the Maccari kits without reservation. Just smooth as butter, both cocking and shot cycle. Although I don't have one in my R7s I presently have one of his "old school kits in a Diana 36 with over 15,000 shots on it. Still going strong and still smooth if starting to loose a...

    Iron Sight Picture Preference???

With all black target sights I prefer to leave a sliver of white. For me it makes it much easier to get a repeatable sight picture without losing the black front post on the black portion of the target.

Need advice in a pistol selection

A little something different, might I suggest a crosman 150. Can usually be found for around $100-150 on the usual sites. They are built like a tank, very accurate and are arguably the most powerful stock co2 pistol out there. The main drawback to them is that they are fairly loud, other than...

Recommendations for RWS Diana model 6G rebuild

+1 on David Slade. He did my Diana 10, which is kind of a rich mans 6g, not super cheap but still shoots to spec 6 years later.

    RWS Model 10 Grips

I have a Diana 10. The factory grips just didn't fit my hand well ( the palm swell hit me in the wrong place causing pain after just a few shots ) I contacted Vernon Austin and he fashioned me a fantastic pair. Had to ship gun to him as he didn't have a template. I believe he now can make you a...

Airgun guide for Dummies. A comprehensive reference if you are getting started

Fantastic post. One quick suggestion, add a paragraph or two on ssp target guns. Agree with Marflow pin this one.
