That's a danger with bowfishing in general, no? It's always concerned me too, I have visions of the line getting wrapped around something and the arrow making a U-turn, but the safety slides seem to do their job pretty well when they pull backwards into a band of duct tape.

I've been having some weird range finder issues (it seems to work on everything except white paper targets at the firing range) with my Pard but it fits the bill for 100-200 yards during the day. Pixilation is such I wouldn't want to go much beyond that unless I was aiming at cow-sized objects.

I have a Huben K1 rated for a tad over 5000 PSI and a CS4 compressor supposedly good for 5800 psi. I can't find an air drier to put between the two that's rated for over 4500 psi. Does anybody make such a thing?
