Keep in mind you can always add the additional expansion chamber later on if you want to quiet it down more.

Im also a huge fan of they Veyron and marksman. I really think the new fixed 10x veyron scope is a perfect airgun scope. Small and light weight, great glass and reticle, paralax dials down to ten yards. And I do feel it would be a good scope out to at least a hundred yards.

Did some testing with the m50 carbine. Poi is the same with can on or off.

Most towns and cities do have a no discharge law.

Just like everyone else here I love me some tools. I have a medium sized toolbox with all the immediate items. But my gun room is my tool room as well so there's a lot in there. I just have to figure out where stuff is. I also like to use special boxes to keep things easily accessible. Great thread.

I wouldn't get too discouraged with the current accuracy. I agree that the gun has to find it's happy tune where accuracy really comes together. Sounds like a fun little project.

I came into the airgun world as the marauder was sliding down the back slope. Or perhaps peaking in popularity. I have 5 different calibers from 177 all the way up to 357. All decked out and shoot better than me. If you take the plunge, hill airgun has a real nice barrel band. There's so many...

It can be a deep rabbit hole lol. The marauder is very easy to work on, get yourself a gauge port tool to decrease nicks when removing the valve and gauge block and a wooden dowel. Also a good leak detector to confirm once it's back together. That p-rod is really nice.

I think the Benjamin M257 is a contender in this search.
