Took A Coyote That Was Threatening My Dog

From my name, you know I have dogs. We have to watch close when out running dogs. 5he tracking collar gives a little neck protection, and I have b3lls on collar which might help too. If people find you remove yotes you will get requests to help in the neighborhood. Always good to remove...

Who else is lucky to be able to shoot in there backyard?

This got me thinking, how far is it to the woods? Looks like 70 yards, usually shooting at 25 yards in back yard. To the right I have a clear 120 yards through to a safe dirthill backstopping for .22 firearms. Neighbors don't mind .22 or few 9mm rounds but I don't push it, airguns won't bother...

    Question for the backyard plinkers

Alot of good ideas here, that's a good way to see what works and how you can adapt to your situation. I live in the rural suburbs so outside isn't issue, but basement shooting needs some silencing. I use a box with cardboard filling, the pellet trap annoyed wife and little dog too.

FWB Fwb 124, which kit ,maccari or vortek? Want it smooth action and accurate power.

Did find the first maccaroni seal tight. Had to size it down. Patience with the lug is needed I found out. I think if I had known about the forum I would have had more insight into going through my first 124. Trial and error was part of learning and doing everything 2 or 3 times to get it...

FWB Fwb 124, which kit ,maccari or vortek? Want it smooth action and accurate power.

This was the video that taught me how to go through my original 124. It looks easier on video ,but I did go through gun and learn the process. Thank you for helping alot of people keep their airguns operating. The 124 I just got is like new except of course the seal is blowing dust. Someone...

FWB Fwb 124, which kit ,maccari or vortek? Want it smooth action and accurate power.

That picture is what I think I'll find upon disassembly. Does not surprise me as my original 124 went probably 13 years ago, then sat in rack. I'm an old guy so not familiar with new fangled tech like you tube, found it and now learning alot about these airguns. Unfortunately while looking for...

FWB Fwb 124, which kit ,maccari or vortek? Want it smooth action and accurate power.

The fwb 124 are all old guns now, the seals crumbled and need replacing. When in this process new piston seals, new breech seal , spring and spring guide etc.. Not unhappy with stock performance but while going through the installation would like to improve for best results. Reading here many...

    Beeman Bought a Used R9 .20

Been watching for .20 that fits budget, now know I need a bigger budget. Had hw 30 years ago and was shooting with my friend. I left with a potential hangover and what I paid for the gun in my pocket. Did throughout the years shoot with him many times and know he really enjoyed that rifle. I...

    Tuning Tuning a spring piston?

It seems the answers here cover tuning, can go light see what you improve. Then go to next step as you learn and see how you improve performance. I learned it's not always fps and power for me,smooth cycle and accuracy are my goals now.
