It was def. the tank- had filled to 4200- shut valve & de-gassed compressor & 30 min. later heard it let go & tank was empty

Recently topped of one of my Scott tanks & 20 min. later heard the sound of escaping air(glad I wasn't nearby) Tank was empty when I checked. Need a source & size for blow-out disc- I assume it's a 7500psi. disc but not sure of right size for threads.

Maybe a bit of blue loc-tite on adjuster screws- sounds like they are backing out causing your sear to slip.

The main culprit in the Avenger changing POI is the combo pic/ weaver mount. Most people I have talked with(myself included) have found the mount to receiver screws loose. So before going thru various scopes, check these. Have had NO issues since snugging down.
