Never mind, I'm an idiot! What I thought was a set screw securing the barrel is just a screw holding on the cheek piece. When I removed the cheek piece I saw the actual set screw and it was loose. I tightened it down and now all is good!!

Last evening when I picked up my 0.30 FX Maverick by the barrel it came out of the gun, WTF!!! The barrel slides easily in and out! There is a set screw near where the magazine goes but it does absolutely nothing. How is it possible to have a gun with no way to secure the barrel in place...

I've had similar experiences with them (a nice lady named Rachel). Sent me parts at no cost, not even for shipping.

I have 4 AF guns all bought from their outlet store at considerable discount. I love the relative simplicity, power, adjustability and reliability of the guns compared to most of my other pcps that always seem to be leaking and need attention. Plus their customer service is top notch!

Just to follow-up, I returned both the 0.22 and 0.25 guns for replacements and guess what....both the replacement guns also leaked! When I complained I received a message that I need to replace the o-rings because "these guns sit in the warehouse a long time".

I have an RWS 34 in 0.177 caliber that was inadvertently left cocked for several months. It didn't lose any velocity at all. In fact, it actually gained a few fps!

Beeman 2027.

I use a Beeman 2027 to routinely take out pests at 40 yards and less easily. I have 2, 1 I left as a pistol and 1 that I turned into a carbine with parts from Buck Rail. The gun is under $180.

Thanks for the replys! The shift seems to happen on both my springers and pcps. Most recently it has happened on my Benjamin Cayden (which is a really nice shooting gun) and on a couple of my Airforce Condors. I know the Condors are very hold sensitive but the latest shift was almost 2"...

It seems that on most of my guns, I'll have it sighted in at a certain distance with a certain pellet but the next time I take it out the POI will have shifted from 1/2" to 2" at 25 yards. Could this be a trait of cheap scopes? I have always economized when it comes to buying scopes. The most...

DARs, I have a gen 1 0.177 and gen 2 0.22 and 0.25 and all 3 leaked right from the start.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I think I will reach out to Airgun Revisions. I can't seem to be able to find any info online about the thread size. Apparantly, at some point the thread size changed on the Caydens.
