From what I have been seeing lately Daystate seems to have really upped their game over the last few years and it has been FX suffering from some quality control issues (hence so many redesigns/updates)

Just to confirm, You adjust the valve adjuster inwards until fps starts to drop, It reduces the amount that the valve opens/time spent open,reducing wasted air (higher shot count,less noise) P.s much carbon shroud

Is your impact a first generation? (Two piece cheek rest, no number stamped under the trigger block) If so I would replace the adjuster screw as well as the delrin piston, The original ones were pointed and have now been changed to a domed to prevent this happening. Alternatively Huma regs...

on the newer impacts gen2 and upwards the production date is stamped under the trigger guard block (yy/mm/dd) (picture is off the forum and not mine)

My Red Wolf is my most accurate .177, Just beats the Wolverine R by a small margin (I think largely due to the superior trigger) The FX Crown was my favorite .177 rifle but wasn't even in the same league accuracy wise so ended up returning it

The smooth twist X barrels just don't work well in .177, and seem to have been an afterthought. I hope this is something they fix (Would rebuy he crown if they did) but for now i would stick to the original smooth twist if going for a .177 or buy something like a Daystate with a Lothar Walther...

Pretty sure Lauren Parsons won the 50yrd using a .177 RedWolf.
