i got the henry 22 lever for under 500 it was on sale 99 off. digging thru my stuff i found an old red field 3x9 scope LOL still looks clear as a bell.

ok ,, ok i am convinced,, air ain't the way to go,,, so this is the perfect time to get something i been wanting anyway, and with the wife hating these varmits as much as i do it won't be a hard sell.. gonna pick up a henry 22 lever ,,24 inch octagon threaded barrel . slap a good scope on it...

the 2 i have killed here in the backyard were with a 20 gauge at 30 yards with 4 shot ,, 3inch shells. they were body shots mostly. now a 20 ga #4 muzzle speed is around 1175 to 1200 with the shells i used but slows down to around 785 fps at 30 yards were as a 22 with a 950 muzzle speed drops...

what is the opinion of he beeman r9 ? found a used one at a decent price i really like the diana 460 22 cal,, but can't find one in stock anywhere.

well my shooting ability is still pretty good,, my problem is i now have neighbors i didn't have 10 years ago and my 22 mag just cracks the whole world when it goes off. i shot a couple of air rifles with open sights and at 20 yards i had a nice group
