    Impact M3 — 1st time with 25.4 grn pellets

Please post the results of your 100 yard groups with the 25.4 grain pellets. My experience with 25.4 grain .22 caliber pellets have been very good at 50 yards. However, at 100 yards the groups look like shotgun blasts. The pellets seem to become unstable beyond 60-75 yards. My apologies for the...

    Am I correct?

Oh, you like that one? Personally, I'm rather partial to "MarkT's post from yesterday at 4:14 PM. "To each their own." I suppose.

    Am I correct?

"The seller should disclose any known defects in the used air rifle. I find it interesting that the majority commenters think otherwise." So you disagree with my expectation that a seller/forum member should be upfront about known issues with any item he puts up for sale on this forum? And...

    Am I correct?

Yeah. With most normal functioning PCPs the air should go in the opposite direction. You know, toward the muzzle of the barrel.😂 However, with my Alpha Wolf, I can feel a slight puff of air from where the shroud meets the action with every shot. It's designed that way.

    Am I correct?

The seller should disclose any known defects in the used air rifle. I find it interesting that the majority commenters think otherwise. With some saying, that getting a defective product comes with the risk of buying used, at a discount. Yet, at the same time -- these members --disagree with...

    slugs?

So you've discovered slugs. 😞 In search of that magical bullet, I've shot ~30K slugs in the last 3 years. I have FX Impacts in Gen 1, X, MK2, M3, EDgun R5m, Taipan Vet etc.. Of the thousands of slugs that I've tested, the Zan slugs are the most accurate in a variety of weights. I believe that...

    Gathering Equipment Questions.

.357 cal.? How large is your backyard? If you have neighbors within ~50 yards I suspect you may get complaints after using a .357 cal., even with a suppressor.

Airgun Learnings and Advice - Daystate Huntsman

Very nice groups. What is the SWP of your Regal? My unregulated DS Regal .177 cal has an SWP of 210 bar. I've noticed a "Bell Curve"-like shot-string when I fill to 250 bar. However, my regulated Huntsman Revere .22 cal has an SWP of 250 bar. These are awesome air rifles.

    Slugs and LabRadar data

I wonder how close the published BC would be to your tested, actual BC of...say, the FX Hybrid if you managed a muzzle velocity of 1000 fps, rather than 812 fps. Your tests pique my interest. I intend to do similar tests with my Labrador on Wednesday at the range. Only problem I usually...

    Slugs and LabRadar data

"Ballistic Coefficient (BC) values can, and usually do change in value with changes in velocity. Most bullets exhibit a lowering BC as velocity slows. The extent of how much a BC will change depends on each unique bullet shape. Hornady.com

    177 Delta Wolf advice?

My hammer is set at 2900 µS and voltage at 85. This setting propels the 13 gr Zan at ~900 fps and 16.2 gr JSB diabolo pellets at ~850 fps.

    177 Delta Wolf advice?

Congrats on a fine acquisition. My DW .177 cal loves Zan 13 grain slugs and JSB 16.2 pellets. Have fun experimenting with an assortment of projectiles.

What is the most accurate airgun in todays market?

Okay! Okay! All things being equal --shooter, environmental conditions, gun vice etc. -- which high-end PCP is most accurate in stock form?
  14. bamavet55

Which of these airguns suites your style?

FX Impact with Nightforce. I want to experience the absolute finest. My wife says that's the result of a childhood of near-deprivation.

"Edgun Leaky" Rifles DOA Out of the Box

I won't engage in any speculation in an attempt to side with either the vendor or the customer. However, if a defective item is mailed to a customer, I see no legitimate reason that a full refund is not due the customer.
