Is it a wildcat mk3 (I think you said it is in the original post)? If so the reg should be on the outside of the tube. I have to take the stock off to get to it, but you shouldn’t have to remove the air tube.

I would turn the reg down and the power wheel up. Im shooting .22 hades at 930 my reg is at 100 and my power wheel is on 4. If you want to shoot the 21 grn pellets you may need do a little finagling the power wheel or the reg or both a little but you should be able to get better air efficiency...

What caliber is it? I have a compact .22 (tube version) and get 3 mags. I would say your tune is wasting air.
