I used to use a similar tape for fixing steering servos to the chassis plates of my on-road RC race cars. Pretty strong stuff if you apply it correctly. I'll keep you updated on the rail if I can make it workable.

Accuracy will stay the same or improve. Velocity *might* go down if the current air charge takes the entire barrel length to fully expand and impart all of its energy to the pellet. But I seriously doubt it. Without a moderator I think you'd be able to tell that the shorter barrel is louder...

Great looking setup. It's been puzzling to me why all manufacturers don't have similar models since airguns aren't NFA regulated. Short barreled carbines are perfect for stuff inside 100 yards.
