What Avenger upgrade barrel bands have you used? There are a bunch out there, from $13 on Ebay to $40+. Will a simple 3D printed band work or do I need a 3 piece, i.e. Black Arts ?

I guess that also accounts for many if not most flyers so long as someone is using good pellets and a tuned rifle. It probably also explains my bane: 4 shots in a tight group with the fifth outside the group, usually 1/2" or so at 25 yds. I must be excited about the tight group and do something...

Thanks for all the help. I put more pellets through them and worked on my rusty technique. Now they're back to what I'd expect except for a few flyers that could be me rather than the rifles. Glad it wasn't anything more serious.

I was shooting off sand bags at 25yds with the scope set at 12X. After trying to shoot off the bench without a rest and realizing how much practice I need to get back to how I was shooting.
