I have a Hammerli 850 in .22 that barks pretty bad. I added a 7" TKO and now it's hard to tell if it has mis-fired or not. It's not, but by far the best TKO I've ever had and I've had a few. The M-rod come first to mind as a very quiet gun I've owned as does the 1701p.

At one time I had the same problem. I swapped the rings, front to back, back to front and all was better. Then it happened to me again. It didn't work the second time and I needed to shim.
