I had the same issue with a Benjamin Akela leaking at the fill port. It was just a bad o-ring on the check valve piston. Replaced the o-ring and all is well. All I had to do was remove the foster fitting. The check valve slides into to back of the fitting. Not sure where your check valve would...

With my 600mm VP 1st reg at 140 bar, 2nd reg set to 100 bar and dial set at 5, I'm getting 885 fps and 46 ft.lbs energy with JSB Hades 26.54 grain .25 cal...and a bunch of shots.
