Highlighting the indoor to outdoor Range

I don't know about him, but I have a friend who owns two old armory buildings as warehouses for his ebay business. They both have underground ranges. I can't imagine how loud they would have been firing multiple Garands in there at the same time. Just walking through them they echo... Andy

a little co2 rifle plinking today...

+1 on that. I have two - an almost-stock (just changed the transfer port and valve) and a more-heavily modified (1/4" transfer port, larger valve, ...) They both are great - one for indoors, one for outdoors. Andy

Back yard shooters, range shooters or back woods shooters?

Looking at your signage there reminded me... I have a friend who is a realtor. They have both fancy metal-frames signs and cheap signs like politicians put out. They fancy ones make decent target holders. The cheap ones are often a heavy enough paper that they serve as a good backing for...

The biggest issue with buying more guns.

We go through this "YOUR hobby is a waste of time but MINE is what you SHOULD be doing" all the time, with all my hobbies. Do I have some airguns I'd sell? Yup, in a heartbeat. Sold a few already this year. I have a 1077 Wood with extra mags and mag holder if you're interested. And a Beeman...

The biggest issue with buying more guns.

Sometimes it's fun to see if it's really the gun, or if it's me. Sometimes nostalgia - I enjoy an old one just because it's an old one. Andy

Back yard shooters, range shooters or back woods shooters?

Charlie, you're making Alabama sound like somewhere I might want to retire! Now if only my wife would be interested. :) I shoot almost only at home, indoors up to 14y, outdoors up to 42y. I've only taken them to an indoor range once so I'd have something to play with while my son shot his 9mm...

Funny story about a pellet order.

One time I ordered something like 6 extra mags for my 10/22 from Pyramyd. Whoever was packing must have been new - they packed 6 boxes of mags, each box having several in it. I called PA and they sent me a shipping label so I could return to them the extras. Andy

    Animals are getting smarter...

As much as I'd enjoy getting rid of them, I have a real problem with inviting rats into the neighborhood! Walnut trees take too long to grow - but filberts would work (I investigated them as a wind break). Between the coyotes, foxes, and my neighbor (squirrel-ivores all) I'd probably not have...

    Animals are getting smarter...

I'm always amazed by the constant flow of squirrels on the Edgun Leshiy channel. Those things see their buddies get whacked, and then go pick up the peanuts they dropped and sit on the carcass to eat! Andy

And the cockroaches will be eating the carcasses of the other two!

    Animals are getting smarter...

When he first got married my brother lived in the top floor of a row house. Across the street was another house just like his. Pigeons were sitting on the peak. One early Sunday morning I was by the window and he was sitting against the opposite wall with his .22. He had me _slowly_ open the...

Has anyone else tried slicing fruit with their air gun?

Open that apple up and you'll find that the core has 6 "spokes" on it as well. That was a heck of a shot to hit like that. Andy
