Holding my breath or should I say my air. Daystate Type 2 is down

There is a range of oil levels that are acceptable, we also have the dipstick and the sight glass to go by. The initial fill takes a little more oil than a drain/refill as the drain is never complete. This oil is very tenacious. I'm going by 330ml and verifying on the dipstick.

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

Daystate and AOA concur with Ray with 15-20 hour recommended oil change intervals (after the initial 5 hour change) (or annually, whichever is sooner). The LC-110 will top off a 45 minute / 66/72 cubic foot SCBA bottle from 3000 to 4500 psi more than 200 times in 100 hours of runtime. (23...

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

If the 3 stage LC-110 is only good for 3000 psi then the Yong Heng and all the other 2 stage compressors should not be used over 2000 psi. I'm an engineer, but not a compressor engineer. The design information I have read about 4500 psi compressors says that 3 stages are sufficient. Four stages...

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

I had a good experience with Ray at Compressor Stuff, but he was going through some medical issues and that added some delays (and may relate to the non-response issue mentioned above). He supplied the Coltri parts for me to add the filter tower that Daystate left out of the LC-110, as well as...

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

I wish Coltri would sell a 120V 15A compressor directly. From what I can tell they only have 240V or 120V 30A models, so it doesn't really fit the needs of most airgunners in the US where 240V is not easily available for consumer appliances except the dryer. We don't need the higher pumping...

    Duty Cycle on Compressors

The water cooling on the two stage compressors is only cooling part of the system. Other parts are getting very hot depending on the runtime and output pressure. Resting reduces these heat stresses. I'm not sure the two stage units were designed for 4500 psi. There's a lot of extra heat to be...

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

I've seen Coltri rebuild kits listed under accessories and supplies at compressorstuff.com and nuvair.com.

    Daystate LC-110 FAIL

Good to hear. Seems like the failures we've seen were the one way valve cracking.

My AV Compressor Had a Major Fail

Interesting. The shaft probably broke for a reason, so on to the next problem.. Best of luck.

In Line 4500 PSI Pressure Gauge

Rated high pressure fittings are pretty costly, and Parker is a first-line brand.

    DAYSTATE T2 COMPRESSOR VS 110V

Thanks for clarifying that. I thought that's what you meant, the one sentence about the sight window being different is a bit ambiguous to me. The differences in the sight window are puzzling. Measuring the oil is easier than overfilling and having to remove excess. :)

    DAYSTATE T2 COMPRESSOR VS 110V

I've read your post several times and am not certain what your meaning is. Sorry,

The tax is for your own state, it won't matter what state the seller is in.

    Yong Heng compressor air filter

Credit to airgunfans for digging up those details in a nice table. My Coltri filter from Lawrence Factor has type 13x molecular sieve in mesh size 8x12. I can refill it about 7 times from a one pound bottle. Each refill will last about six months. Less than one dollar a month for fresh first...
