I have 2 of those mounts and they work great on my 392 and 397. They hold tight, and scope zero never changes on mine. Both of my guns are newer.

I have done alot of different mods, bought various drop in parts, and combinations of mods and aftermarket parts. A good valve like Travis has or Hill, is probably #1 for a .25. Past that it depends on what you want out of the gun.

I just got a new .25 and by simply changing the factory hammer spring and a few other changes, I get 24 shots at 860fps. Sure I could do alot better, but I was happy with my initial results so I didn't push further. Most stock guns get 16 shots by simple tuning. 

Just so it doesn't confuse anybody who may read your statement. Every .25 Mrod regardless of gen1 or gen2 has the same barrel. They have always been "green mountain".

Did some minor internal work, changed the hammer spring, and got some decent results. 3000psi fill, 857fps avg, ES 30fps, SD 8fps for 24 shots.

Fit was absolutely perfect!! Doc, you do amazing work!!
