I love the tactical handguard. But one think I'm wondering: is the clearance from the barrel wide enough so you can properly use the m-lok slots for mounting i.e. a picatinny rail? Or is is more for the looks? In my experience it quickly gets very tight with the m-lok screws (almost) touching...

A warm welcome from Belgium. And a great choice for an airgun 😉 first advice: keep it tuned as from the factory for a while until you get to know your gun. You can tune a lot with an impact, but you can also mess up a great gun with a bad tune.

after rereading and rethinking my post it’s maybe not the best idea to have the regulator that high. I had some spare time and lowered the reg from 190 to 140. At first view accuracy is still the same but the ES seems better. And the slow first shot seems gone. So I guess it's a keeper like this.

I've recently been testing the AEA center punch 50,5 in .30, and it looks very promising. Compared to JSB the BC is a lot higher (0,060 vs 0,048). And probably because of the better BC the sound is reduced (probably due to better aerodynamic design): shooting the JSB .30 has a very wooooshy...

I just ignore the regulator pressure, when in factory mode the gun automatically adapts the voltage and dwell time to keep pellet speed consistent. It's a new gun and I didn't touch the regulator knob yet, I just left it at factory setting. I might experiment with it a little more in the near...

You should also check if you have the latest version of firmware loaded on the gun. It could be an older version out of the box.

You can get it out with a small pointy tool. Ie a toothpick or a needle should do the trick. It just lays on top so not difficult to remove. It can be a little difficult to really seal it. If I remember well I put a small oring in it instead of delrin. Once sealed don't touch it 😉

Aw that’s a pain indeed. When I was new to my M3 I had the same. Although double loading does almost never happen to me anymore. Don’t know if you damaged the barrel. However, the good news is: it’s just liner. If you really damaged it it’s quite cheap to replace. So I wouldn’t think about it...

It could be too little space. If the barrel moves a tiny bit due to the airblast (which all barrels do due to harmonics) they would touch. And this ruins accuracy (speaking with experience because of too long mlok attachment screws)

@Marc from France as indicated above by @Jay308 the regulator seems on the (very) high side for such a light pellet. If you want to shoot lighter pellets I'd turn it down. I don't think you current tune is balanced. Besides you're probably wasting a lot of air which disturbs the pellets when...

the import charges are generally calculated on the full value of the package, including shipment costs etc. Maybe that accounts for the difference? Probably UPS also includes a handling fee.

come on guys, this is not a serious comment. A lot of airguns have the potential to shoot amazing lasers. The Maverick is certainly part is this group. But as with all other airguns: you have to tune it properly, and you have to use a pellet or slug your barrel likes. The finest gun shoots like...
