Omega AC-1a air compressor not compressing past 240bar

Well you got me to thinking just what is my average re-fill time for my 186cc AA .22, from about 160 to 250 bar. 56 seconds. After installation of the Omega Clean Air filter my fill time averaged 2.56 minutes. yes takes a little longer but I think it worth it.

GX CS4 How to load grease pot?

On my Omega Air Charger I bought the 8oz container of Renewable Lubricants. Was never sure of when to turn the grease screw or how much. Turning 1/8 to 1/4 turns at a time seems to work. Usually a 1/4 to 1/2 turn as required keeps the squeeking down. Being in a former profession we always...

Omega AC-1a air compressor not compressing past 240bar

Tried the dead head but could only go to 200 bar. After looking at the possible 6 fittings I found 2 leaking. I disassembled all, cleaned, and where permisssible applied some 242 Blue lock-tite. Have to wait 24 hours to cure so tomorrow will be the big day. Checked all QD's under water, no...

    Testing compressor and tank gauges

I suggest going to the Wika Gauge, or another industrial company web site and look at their gauges, diameters, pressures suggest BAR, attachment points etc. Read the section about how the percent of accuracy level is established for each gage, diameter of gage, and appropriate range of the gage...

First Time Sorting Pellets By Weight

Mike, Regarding weighing your pellets. Does your scale measure in Grains and Grams? If so, and you want to get better weights go to the grams and you get one additional decimal position. Or 10 additional weights per pellet weight. Gets even better if you have a scale that measures in x.xx...

    Sizing .22 pellets question

I had the same problem with the .22 sizer 6 months or so ago. Sent it back for polishing and it was returned to me in the same condition. Took it to my tool & die maker and had him polish it out properly. The problem is his tool is old and has not been sharpened lately or preferably replaced...
