Hi Vjsm8576 ... you twist the knurled silver end to the left, then grip it tight and pull back till you hear a click, this cocks the trigger and opens a port on the breach a little bit further down toward the muzzle. Drop your pellet into the opening with the open end (skirt) facing backwards ...
