    Kalibrgun Cricket its way!

You are welcome. Former enlisted but never deployed despite volunteering. Now deployed as a contractor, funny how I have been to more places and did more military type stuff as a civilian than when I was in the airforce. I hope the cricket shoots the jsb 18s well as thats what i have stocked...

    Kalibrgun Cricket its way!

Well I found a gen 1 criccket for sale on the classifieds with a scope for a good price and pulled the trigger. Having it sent to Charlie for a full look over and tune, though it was already tuned so it might not need much. Still a bit expensive for me, but it looks like a great gun and with...

How do you get the most out of your pellets

For me i put pellets in warm water with soap and swirl them around a bit. Then rinse off to clean them. Spread them out to dry. Then once dry put them in the tin after putting in some chain wax on the tins foam. Roll tin around a bit to get all pellets waxed and call it good. When loading...

    JSB quality????

I like jsbs. A few years ago i bought the big 500 tins for the buy 4 get one free or whatever from pyramid. Got around to opening one of the tins last year or year before and id say 1 in 5 had bend in the skirts. Some slight and some pretty bad. I figured either shipping or the tin got knocked...

    Who is your shooting buddy?

Does he bring them back or does he try to run off with them? My moms german shepherd goes hunting with me and if i get something he tries to take and eat it. So far over the years he has caught and killed around 6 bunnies, and this year alone 6or so woodchucks in the yard/back field. No...

    N/A 177 compact for rats

Not listed as one of your guns but what about a marauder pistol with a stock? I have heard good things about them. Short and compact, accurate and with a supressor quiet. Since you are at close range and dont need huge power it might be something to look at. I seem to remember a few guys on...

DAR Standard riflescope on a PCP

Pcp you don't need a special scope like you do with spring guns. But i would make sure the gun can be focused close enough. Many rimfire scopes have a set focus and paralax at like 50-100 yds.

    Any guns you regret buying"

Interesting. I would get mostly tight groups. Then go fill it and it would sit until i would try to shoot a starling that wandered into the yard and sometimes it would be good, but other times i would consistently miss and then I would get the targets out and re zero . It would then show...

    Any guns you regret buying"

Airforce Talon ss .22 Bought it like 20 years ago, first new pcp gun. Back then then it was one of the only affordable pcps at like 450-500 dollars. All the rest were like a grand. It was accurate, light and somewhat quite. Problem is ergonomics suck, loud ping since tank is the stock and i...

At what distance do you typically shoot your airgun?

If you can keep 1 inch groups at 125 yds that is very impressive. Id be happy to hit pop cans or bottles at that range

At what distance do you typically shoot your airgun?

Id guess flatter trajectory so less hold over and wind drift? Slugs sound cool but for the cost Im not interested and if im shooting at extreme ranges and power id probably opt for a .22lr shooting heavy subsonics

At what distance do you typically shoot your airgun?

Holy crap thats a long ways. What setup do you use for that? Im guess 30 cal slugs?

At what distance do you typically shoot your airgun?

Usually 20-50 yds for backyard shooting from a table. Sometimes hunting a bit more but im not a good enough shot freehand with air arms 410 for longer range so usually 30-40.

    Kalibrgun Cricket 1 vs 2

Thanks. Yeah i have looked but its in .25 which isnt what im looking for. Im thinking keep it .22 as it should have he power i want for what i hunt and be easier to make backyard friendly.cheaper ammo also. Not sure how cheap or easy to swap barrels on them.
