    Optika6 3-18x50 vs Ares ETR 3-18x50

Just need to clarify… and say they are more optically similar to each other 5 vrs 6 but share that look and good performance across both optika lineups. (For the models I have at least). This would make sense as I beleive all optika’s have the same glass quality and coatings applied minus...

    Optika6 3-18x50 vs Ares ETR 3-18x50

Not much help here but… I have some 5 and 6’s but have not looked or tested them side by side so have no detailed answer for you. My opinion is both have simular if not the same glass and coatings and neither is going to blow one or the other away in regards to low light clarity. If I was...

    Lubrication ?

I use moly grease Pyramid Air sells some under the Air Venturi brand. A little goes a long way. Best practice is to wipe on, wipe off.

Big Scope for a little gun

Love big scopes on airguns. Almost cant have enough zoom. Handling, balance and all that gets thrown out the window when on a bench or a tripod is used. One I dont like is smaller pistol/carbines where you have a scope that is just as big/heavy or more than the airgun and feels like you...

What gun is most comparable to Leshiy for packing into the woods?

Leshiy classic would be my vote and if on a smaller, tighter budget the pp700 with folding stock is regarded as the poor man's leshiy. I prefer the pp750 over the pp700 though.

Meopta on Sale and Camera Land

I could not resist and bought a 3-15x44 optika 5. Even though it is not FFP, with exposed turrets and a zero stop for elevation with Mil and Illumination I could look past all that for for its intended job of set it, don’t forget it and enjoy its optics.

Suggestions for a .177 Backyard Plinker?

Never heard of the arrow. Looked it up some and one review said it was loud. I know you want .177 but gamo urban fits the price but could be just as loud not sure never shot one but loads of favora le reviews. Crosman 1720 but Is more $ and would think a can on the end would help it and I...

    Edgun Behemoth Moderator Clipping

Too bad. What is the size and weight of that thing? I believe you can remove sections, did you try making it smaller by chance? I have a huma mod40 compact on a compact with no problems.

Athlon Ares BTR gen 1 vs. gen 2?

If you get the Athlon let us know how you like if compared to the meopta. Not a big 1v1 but subtle notes or preferences. Always wanted an Athlon so I would be all ears? Or eyes?

    Leupold vs others

Try one of the Blue ringed scopes I would agree and recommend the Meopta Optika5 scopes. They seem very similar to Leopold’s scopes other than the weight as most the optikas start in the 20 ounce range and go up from there. Similar to Leopold as they and Meopta have more hunter friendly scopes...

    Swampfox Arrowhead 1-10x24

FYI They, Atibal, have the Newest version FFP Hybrid12 with parallax adjustment for sale on their website. Said in stock but who knows. Lots of money for those, could be pretty sweet.

    Optika6 3-18x50 vs Ares ETR 3-18x50

I meant to buy an Athlon years ago. Multiple models have caught my eye like the Midas, Ares and Helos but I never purchased one. When I finally bought a new scope I decided to upgrade and spend more than 200- 300 dollars that my vector and discovery cost. Wanting to jump over the river of made...

34mm tube ffp scopes focusing down to 10 yards?

That Meopta, 3-18 both 50mm and 56mm are 30mm tubes. They do 10 yards min parallax though. The only 34mm tube in that lineup is the 5-30x56mm that states 110 moa and 25yard min parallax.

    Low End PCP for Friend

Looks like you made a good choice. I did not realize that the avenger was pretty light at 6.4lbs. I must have been thinking of the wood version at 7lbs. Plus seems like a lot of shots for a .25 so again you did good with the avenger by utilizing its high air capacity. Also that buck rail...
