Are there any Central Florida airgun clubs?

Datameister,

there’s nothing other than desotoairgunners which is about 1 1/2 hours from Orlando. Google them...

I live in Saint Cloud and I shoot at the Triple N Range which is a very cool place but it gets too loud.

I which they have an area for airgunners.

Yo, at this point I think is better to get a hunting license for “small game” and shoot the airguns in public hunting areas.

shoot me an email if you want to get together one of these Days, maybe after covid-19.

My wife and I shoot in a 10 meter group in central Illinois but are looking for a florida group. We both shoot off hand, half support and pistol. Shooting an anschutz rifle and a Morini pistol. We shoot other things at the volusia county range but 10 meter is an indoor sport so looking for a like minded group. The one in Illinois is attached to the German American Central Society so league and club vs. Club matches follow German rules (same as international but if you're over 55 you can shoot half support. Looking for any 10 meter groups. We are in New Smyrna

I’m in Deltona, I have about 15 different guns of .177 to .50 caliber so feel free to pm me if you’re local and I’ll let you check out whatever I have. I’m more into big bores and have more of them.

DonnyFL does indeed live here, I’ve met him, super cool guy, but I think he’s probably pretty busy these days ...

I would be interested in a club of some sort as well.

I have been hunting the Ocala forest this year. I’ve shot at the range there in the forest. It’s not too bad if you catch it at the right time and it’s free.

Hi All,

Seems my local range has air pistol silhouette. Their last match was last weekend (and I missed it). I'll have to stop by the next match on April 18 and check it out. They may shoot air rifle other times without a formal match format. It is on the calendar at Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. At least maybe I can find a few other airgun shooters local. I've introduced 2 friends, now they both enjoy the hobby.

I'll be back next month to let folks know how it looks over here.

Hi everyone,

I'm in Cape Canaveral. I think Fabian had a good idea "At this point I think is better to get a hunting license and shoot the airguns in public hunting areas."

A hunting license in Florida costs $17.00 and supports conservation. 3-4 people could e-mail each other and simply agree to meet somewhere and shoot for a day. I am available any day of the week. We just bring a folding table, folding chairs, water, snacks, etc. and set up in the shade and start shooting. Hunters 200 yards away wouldn't know we were there. For me, Tosohatchee WMA on the east side of Orlando would be perfect. I set up my account with airgunnation to be notified of any replies to this post.

I also live in central fl, and unfortunately I also have not been able to find any airgun clubs in the area. Also haven't found any local shops at all that carry any high end guns. I have purchased my guns from Airguns Arizona and recently Utah Airguns. Utah Airguns has been a bit more helpful with packages and customer service. As others mentioned Donnyfl is also a great source. YouTube, and this site have been my go to for info. I have been collecting and shooting last 5-6 years and am still learning a lot daily here lol...

There is a shop Central Florida Airguns over in Holly Hill in Volusia county that carries some high end guns , they had a decent sized showroom , i was surprised . I bought a HP SS Plus from them a couple months ago . I really wanted to hold one and check it out before I bought one . Definitely hooked now .

I just picked up a AGT Uragan 2 from Tony at Talon Tunes in Jacksonville a couple days ago , he has a good inventory as well , but no storefront though .

I know this is an older thread , it's the thread that brought me here about 6 months or so ago . I figured I'd update it for those looking in the future .

I live in Clermont Florida. Love Airguns. Started out with an air arms tx200 and air arms pro sport but I sold them both after I bought my first PCP. I now own three but I know that number will slowly increase😂

maybe we can start a central Florida airgun club if we have enough members. Lots of open space out here in Clermont! If anybody here is interested send me an email to [email protected] and I’ll start a group thread or something and see if we can get something rolling. Please include name city phone number and what type of shooting you do or would be interested in doing. Guns you own would be cool to add as well. I can then prepare a list to email out to everyone and maybe we can have our first meet sooner than we think. I have some friends with land. It wouldn’t be that hard to set up.

My my name by the way is Robert Hales and I own a hatsan bullpup in .25. An airforce condor .22 and a gamo tc35L which I plan on hunting deer with this season.

My dream gun is an FX Impact set up for benchrest shooting!

Hope to hear from all of you soon.

I joined your group on FB a while back , I saw you recently went to Triple N . Are you planning on going back there any time soon ?
