HP slug or non hp slug

Wondering does it even matter for hunting?

I’m seeing some animals walk or fly way when shot with 50-60 fpe. For birds it just doesn’t dump enough I guess. I like the high bc though

Thin walled wide mouthed , light Hollow points is the way for birds.

VK 22 XLHP, JSB .216 20.83 or .217 28.55 knockouts will explode, essentially even on birds. H&N hp 2 will rearrange them too.

I gotchu bud . This is at 45yds.

These other pics are from 20-70yds

Velocity of 1020 out the muzzle but it does the same thing with 890fps out the muzzle

These were mostly done with take aim 30gr gr XLHP.
