FX fx impact m4 first 10 shots are slow

Fx Airguns has released a fix for slow first shots.
There is 5 new pieces: not conical plenum neck (with just 1 oring inside), a delrin ring/insert that go inside that plenum neck and complete new valve housing and oring.
For the M3 the warranty only cover the plenum neck and delrin ring/insert, while for the M4 all the 5 pieces are replaced.
Cannot put photo because the dealer cannot allow.
I wonder if it's the plenum neck feed hole causing it I seen some guy drill it out to 2mm that he said fixed it

The plenum neck is the only issue, all other parts are not relevant.

It has been proven for so long. Mubhaur his part fixes the issue without replacing 5 parts.

Pretty sure he meant there is a solution. I agree with your first statement. For the price you shouldn’t have to tear apart your gun to make it work right. Correct an ongoing problem that has existed for quite awhile now. FX should be taking in these guns and putting the new parts in free of charge, including shipping both ways. I’ve said it before, a lot of fault lies right with us consumers. People have a lot of forgiveness for companies major shortcomings. The general attitude towards this is ahhh whatever they have parts and all you have to do is tear apart your new 2400 dollar gun to fix their mistake. No big deal. Reality is, it is a big deal.

I didn’t do my research so the ignorance is on my part. I didn’t realize this was problem. Had I known I would have purchased a different and cheaper gun. Probably a marauder and go back to shooting pellets. Cheap and simple. That gun I managed to do 1.25 MOA 5 shots @ 100 yards my extreme speeds didn’t help me

I bought my M3 August 2023 and are still under warranty. The M4 was released after, why you tell isnt covered by warranty?
Because, in an effort to resolve this issue it was first sent to a "reputable" tuning company (not FX agents) who had the gun apart and failed to fix the issue.

I then stripped the gun myself and used the special o-rings developed by a former member, which improved the problem, but didn't solve it.

I'm assuming those "unapproved" strip-downs will have voided the warranty ;)

Such “unapproved” disassemblies will not void your warranty unless you have left particularly visible marks, such as stripped screws.
