What a BREECH!

In my experience with only 1 semi auto, the Leshiy 2, it was a fantastic gun with 0 issues as far as jamming and was extremely accurate. If I was to critique anything about the gun it would be the trigger which makes it harder to shoot accurately. Though I wouldn't consider it a target gun, after getting use to the trigger I was able to get 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 50 yards consistently off a bench. Considering that I was shooting the shortest version of the L2 .22 I would consider it very accurate. I seen they have an aftermarket trigger for them now also. As all quality air guns they are pricey, but if I was looking for a semi auto again, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another.

Having owned several semiautomatic rimfire and centerfires I agree that in some situations they are great and rapid fire plinking is fun (but expensive 😁 ).

I do a lot of plinking and like working the side-lever as part of the shooting cycle.

When tuning or target shooting I want every shot to be separate and deliberate so I single load and pause between shots to record velocity data and make notes.

As far as semiautomatic airguns, each to their own but no thanks. I worry that the soft lead pellets could be damaged by the mechanism.

Cheers!

Lately I've been enjoying slow paced sessions at the shooting bench. Single shot loading with the Pinty P-Force Tactical with the Accushot SF scope shooting my cast 27.40 BBT and various ranges to be very rewarding.
Just slow it all down and make every shot count.
I did own an Evanix Air Speed for a while and it was fun but man, I blew through lead and air at break neck speed. It ended up sitting in the case so I let it go.

No really, I want to figure out if I want a semi auto PCP rifle. I found a list and researched. Why not? Now in 2025? Why has the technology not improved faster? The more I read the more I am turned off by accuracy and jamming issues.
how does BREECH correlate to your post?

Mine jammed at first, it was just over gassed. Magazines are what I would focus on today..... But also semi auto is cool for the first tin of pellets and then makes no difference to me when the novelty is gone.

This is the first 5 shot group at 100 yards that I shot with my new-to-me (used) Huben K1 I bought off this forum's classifieds. Well under MOA and I was shooting faster than I could ever cock any action!

In many jurisdictions, air guns are being classified as firearms. In my current State of residence (CO), air guns are NOT classified as air guns, but it is illegal to buy or sell any semi automatic firearms. Once they classify air guns as firearms (they will as CO is mirroring IL), semi auto air guns will also be illegal.. Bottom line check your States laws on air rifles and be aware that the semi auto air rifle you buy today may not be legal in the near future.

I have owned 2 Huben K1's, an LCS SK19, and a Western Airguns Sidewinder, and sold them all for that and other reasons.

They'll have to re classify what a firearm is, including traditional black powder. I don't think they want that smoke. My state of California hasn't even gone that far. They even exempted us air gunners from the lead hunting ammo ban.

the CO law states that the semi auto restrictions do not apply to already owned devices - it is only for the manufacture, purchase, or sale of new ones. So don't neuter your fun for no reason!

I hate to hear that! Arkansas is definitely different. I would hate to go backwards.
