Just got a zelos and it’s leaking air slowly. The pressure gauge is dropping but the reg gauge is staying where it’s set even after the pressure gauge has dropped below the reg. So I can rule out the poppet valve right? Any ideas where it’s leaking from and has any one else dealt with this problem already?

i know of 2 local to me that leaked out of the box. currently there waiting replacements.......

My .25 Zelos is shooting extremely well, no problems at all, very accurate and Im absolutely loving it.

A brand new Zelos with 3 year warranty can be purchased for $440 shipped!
I almost went down the path of modifying my little Notos for more power, and now Im glad I did not.
My plan is to leave the little Notos alone, and use its big brother Zelos, when more power is needed.
I never was a Umarex/Snow Peak/SPA fanboy until a few months ago, and now things have changed....for the better!

I sent back 3 Zelos unfortunately. 2 of the 3 were leaking about 100+ psi daily. Not sure if this gun was rushed or what. The quality control is real bad. I think Ray Charles was working the assembly line.
First leaked. My second had a bent shackle on the trigger linkage, bottom pic rail came from the mold cracked w/ chunk missing, then it was clipping. Assembly put two trashed parts on that gun. 3rd gun had no second stage out of box because a screw was about to fall out(really not a big deal but funny at this point) and leaked. Sadly just no care on assembly.
Really sucks cause these guns are shooters and really got potential!

These are Chinese guns I assume. I guess it’s made in crappy factory. There are some good made in China stuff and then there is really bad don’t care just ship whatever we can assemble China stuff. That stuff is usually made so cheaply that they can send you 3-4 new ones and they are still turning a profit.

I just sent #3 back for a refund. I was over it. Not in the mood for another project gun atm. Owell onto something else. Get the thrill of hunt for next airgun

Haha maybe. I believe the chance of a terd on this first run of Zelos is greater than average. That being said I was just very unlucky. I will say there is more being returned than people think.

Anyone just accept the slow leakage? If you go shooting, you usually gonna fill it up, shoot it empty, repeat it many times.

I never got another replacement after 3rd. It was probably something simple honestly. Problem was the gun was so new then there wasn’t even a oring list at that time. If I got one now and it leaked I might just fix it. Although you shouldn’t have to on a new gun.
Great guns for the price I’m just super unlucky lol.

Mine has been great, no leaks, shoots like a laser,
I find when a gun leaks it is usually 6 things,
#1- Fill port o-ring seal, sometimes they get hard and crusty usually #5 or #6 o-ring size, replace as needed or use Silicone oil to relube.
#2- Fosters Fill port threads not sealing- bad Teflon tape or not tight enough on Delrin seal
#3- Loose or leaking Manometer Gauge- tighten or replace
#4- Loose air bleed screw- Tighten to properly seal - I bought many air guns that no one could find leak and was only a loose Bleed screw
#5- Regulator O-ring leaking- usually poorly assembled with chaffed o-rings
#6- Poppet leak, cracked of worn out poppet- do balloon test on barrel
easy fixes for some leaks, put 5-10 drops of Silicone oil in the fill hose or probe depending on your fill port type, pump the Silicone oil into the gun along with air, fill air to normal fill pressure, shoot gun to off regulator or to 1500 psi, this allows Silicone oil to circulate through the air gun, if leak stops, leak was caused by dried O-rings, oil will relubricate O-rings and help make a better seal, usually it will be a leak at the fill port o-ring.
Make sure all threaded items are tight enough for a proper seal.
