What did you do airgun related today.

Spent an 1 1/2 hours pulling weeds out of the range. Always after a rain.

Some thing I never do in the winter.

Good for another month. Crow

Got the 22xx fully assembled and working. Just put a cheap 3-9x scope for now. OAL with the Atlas Custom Works SS-8 stock is 23" and folded at just under 15". Tried some minor tuning with different hammer springs, not much speed improvement. Right now at 528+ f/sec with 14.3 CPHP. Looks like I will need to increase valve internal volume to gain more.

Did training for a new member of our iguana buster team, had him shoot the krait L and I've taken out a bunch of iguanas.

ALLLSOOOOO i took apart my U2, I mean 97% of the way and I find out my 2023 U2 600mm .177 has no depinger inside the plenum 😔, good news for me the plenum I ordered I arrived today! So goodbye nasty ping! I will also be installing the huma reg and plenum in it as well!

@greenbeans finally found the damn issue!

THANK YOU!!! To @greenbeans for reminding me that I may need to use the red cap to create a seal for the valve to sit in place again. My U2 is back to shooting quieter than before with the depinger from ebay and the reg is working better than the stock one was. It's currently set to 155b and it is shooting 16.5gr VK slugs between 1042fps added 1048fps for 40fpe.

I've also been removing iguanas while practicing craniotomies!

Group well?
So I managed to shoot them out to like a hundred and thirty yards, i got a lot of them grouping with an 1.5" but I was getting flyers. I started sorting through the actual tin, and some had a flat head instead of a rounded head, some had extra pieces of flashing are lead inside of the hollow base cavity. So I'm thinking I'll have to sort these to give it a true test. But I've had several shots out the distance where they were hitting the same spot. With the flyers as big as 3 to 4 inches, but if I remove the outliers, the majority are within an inch and a half and that's shooting with 5mph winds

Installed a Huma Reg and XL plenum in my Uragan, replaced hammer spring... regassed and Started testing.

Stock the gun as at 105b generating 32.3-36fpe Projectile dependent. Installed the Huma Set to 125b, Lowest energy is 40.3 with 21gr .217 Javelins, 46 with 28.55 .217 KO, and 43 with my preferred slug, the .216 KO 20.83, generating 45.8 with the JTS 25.39 pellets. 43.67 with the MK II KO .216 25.39. Finding a slug or pellet that didn't same hole nearly every shot was a challenge with this rifle, I've made profiles in ChairGun Elite for all of them. I think i'll be shooting the 20.83 KO and the 28.55 KOs depending on prey. talk about explosive expansion.

Edit: I forgot to mention one important aspect. After a few hundred shots to break in the brand new regulator. I did a good bit of fine tuning and set the hammer spring to what I found to be the sweet spot of the sweet spot. With the 25.39 KO mk2, the Gun has an SD of .7 FPS the Extreme spread is 8.5fps High was an 880.3, low was an 871.8 Average is 877.8

Today Updated my Buck rail / Nate chrony to latest firmware.

Thesting it Mon and Tue granted on V5.7 FW i found that if i want my V2 FX chrono to register the same speeds i have to calibrate the FX to +2.0 and then it still lack a couple or three fps.
On 0.0 it is trailing quite a few fps on the speed readings.

Of course i have no master chrono to be able to tell either / or.

Also just ordered a new permission to buy another silencer, the Danish police say now and last time i got permission it can take 3 months ( to check register and see i am not a crook and cool in that regard, something that should be seconds in the worlds most digitised country )
Mind you last permission application it was here on paper in mailbox pretty fast, so with 3 months i think they are covering all bases / worst case scenario.

Still scary to think the public instances the Danes trust so very much more than other nations,,,, can drag their feet as much as they do.

Also i have refurbished a old Action camera ( SJcam SJ6 legend ) and i think it can now be used as a target camera,,,,, not happy putting my new insta ace pro camera that close to projectile flight path.

Well, my nephews gun is finished. My brother told me to leave the power as is for more shoots per co2 cartridge. Then I decided to reconfigure the stock to fold to the right for more compact package, length folded = 15" , height = 8" and 3" thick. Also added a tube cheek face ( cut my pp750 shroud). Finished off making a starter kit by assembling a swinging target, box of CO2 and pellets.

Fixed my Hatsan Jet 1. The factory poppet (poorly designed) finally broke. I had a replacement that was custom made by a member on GTA. I purchased it probably a year ago, as I knew it'd be a matter of time before the original broke. It was a drop in replacement and now I'm back in business better than before.

I went on Amazon to buy more .25 cal Apolo domed pellets and YOWZER!!! The price has doubled!!! It is actually cheaper to buy the H&N's now. WOW!!! Is this the tariffs?

No. Amazon just has an idiotic pricing structure on pellets. Order jts pellets. They’re never over 14.99 and they’re good. They arrive in tact. Usually.

I finally had time and nice weather so I got out the GK1 25, Notos 22, L2 30 and my custom made Leshiy classic in 9mm just punched some paper nothing to brag about in my shooting but I found that the GK1 isn't accurate at all if you don't seat the pellets properly first mag was spot on and the second was all over the place, Here's pics of my herd.

I finally ordered a Beeman r7 today after visiting here and other sites. I've been reading about the r7 and watching videos recommending them for kids and adults for a while. I'm a senior and this rifle will be a very welcome easy to use gem in my collection. I don't want added complications or a work out. Right now, all I will need is some time, some pellets and a bench.
