FX - DRS press release (Pro, Classic, Sub12)

Boy not a good time to be strapped for money. Hopefully things will change when it is actually available. 
The other thing is when you spend all your hard earned money on the gun and modifying it the way you want, to do all the things you want, what happens when the next version comes out and it's basic version does all the stuff your modified version does, and then some?
Maybe I'll just have fun with my old impact buying other people's take offs and cast aways.

I can't say I am always able to shoot MOA or less, but that is mostly me. And when I can do it, it is with a .177 Fortitude that I paid $233 for new delivered and an Akela I paid $333 for, new delivered.Boy not a good time to be strapped for money. Yeah, I don't have the adjustments I would like to have. But then again, I have $566 invested in 2 PCPs that can do MOA or less if I do my part. Draw your own conclusions. (smile)

Wasn't referring to you, just saw a lot of asinine comments on FB about this gun today. Mostly people hilariously crying about it "looking too much like a real gun", etc. Lmao.
So yeah, hi! It's me! I'm that guy you just described! 1 year ago I just got my Panthera and have spent the time and money decking it out into a tier one competition rifle. Is anyone forcing me to go to the DRS? No. Is my Panthera always going to compete with whatever else comes out? Absolutely. It is MY choice to get a new competition rig. I could hang on to my Pcat and keep slaying with it, no doubt. I have the means to get the new rifle and try it out, so I will. But even if I didn't, it wouldn't matter because my Pcat is still an amazing positional shooting competition gun. Mine is an absolute laser and I'm not getting rid of it. With both the Panthera and DRS being 100% viable for competition - it comes down to the shooter's skill...
FX is doing absolutely right by the market by having lots of cool rifles available so customers can take their pick. I feel 100% fine about my Panthera purchase(s). So with no disrespect I really don't see any validity to your comment here. Can't afford the new jam? Keep your old one. But you have mad options now, something for everyone.

I believe that FX is going to offer several different plenum options.
If you look very close at the very few photos/videos that exist so far, I recall seeing some differences in plenums.
Seems like one plenum even had a gauge built into the side of it, and yet another photo, of a different DRS, clearly had no gauge at all.
So my ASSUMPTION, (and I could be very wrong), is that FX will offer a variety of plenum options!

I wish the cocking handle was beefier I’ll probably just grab one on eBay there’s a guy that makes a nice one on there Hopefully it doesn’t touch the chassis. Also I’ve noticed there’s so many different versions of this rifle I’ve seen like three different pictures of it talking about the pro I feel like there’s been some Photoshop going on or something I really want to see the production model please FX come out with a breakdown video on your official YouTube page !

At indoor 10 meter competitions we have a lot of air rifles moving to and from the line during relays and sitting on the tables uncased being prepped. We use Open Barrel Indicaters, Weed Wacker plastic line, that extends from breech to muzzle and protrudes 2 to 3 inches out of both the chamber and muzzle so that everyone can see the rifle is indeed incapable of launching a projectile.
This may be the solution for carrying an FX DRS between stages uncased.

I don't mind this idea--thread some line with big flags, would be pretty darn visible then. That's just my concern, the visual misinterpretation. It's not like this is a slim profile feature, it's the size of a modern magazine

I wonder if fx based the DRS on a traditional powder burner like a Remington, or if it is totally one off. Meaning will it be easy for other chassis builders to make their own versions of the MDT DRS chassis.

From influencer commentary, there were some slight adjustments made to fit into the chassis but claim you can drop a standard barreled action into it. Wasn't clear if any adapters would be needed.

No flags are needed. Competitors use the thinnest line and cut it long enough so that the line curls at each end. Red Weed Wacker line is the best for being seen at a distance, yellow is very hard to see.
I like the line to curl up on itself so I can just place it in my pocket. Thick line is too stiff, won't curl easily and is easily dropped in the dirt.

once a few decades ago i wasted my processor time looking for aliens, that + the fact you can not get a KWh of power more expensive anywhere than in Denmark, well soon ended that.
Dont get me wrong i can see problems with GOV / traditional money, but BIZZ BUZZ money i can not see as a media of change, and i often say all the GUGUwatts of power used to generate that could have been used better.
Also hate big data centers moving here to Denmark, leeching on our green power and nice internet backbones, would very much like to see facebook - google - Amazon and who ever else up and leave.

Looks a lot like a firearm. Is that who air gunners are targeting for sales? Still new here but this is the first air gun I've read about with a "plenum" that's easy to swap. Right?

It seem like in Sweden they are already there / imminent, the classic are listed as "in store " in a shop over there where as the PRO is not, also there are no price on either of them yet.
But state side a after all not unimportant market for FX, you can probably pick one up before summer.
As i remember back in the day the Maverick was long selling in the US before they was in stores here in Denmark, which is literality right next to Sweden but of course we are not a big market.
