I've said it before and I'll say it again - we are really entering a golden age of airguns.
I started shooting HFT back in 2014 and the idea that there would be a commercially available regulated, tunable, sidelever cocking, 50+ FPE, caliber swappable platform available at this price point was borderline unimaginable.
The Avenge-X is picking up where the Marauder left off. This will get a lot of folks into high-end airgunning.

I "Pulled" an easy trigger mod from Steve's IG (HookedonAir) that I think you'll appreciate!
To get the last little bit of sear-break-creep outta your Air Venturi Avenge X, remove the stock, remove the trigger sear screw, and omit 2 of the screw's 3 washers. Reassemble and enjoy a perfect 2 stage creep-free beauty
Formula = CW seat the trigger sear screw, CW seat travel adjuster screw, CCW seat the trigger weight adjuster screw

I replaced the allen head cap screws with M5x12mm round point grub screws. Easy to adjust to perfection. Used a bit of vibratite so they would hold their adjustment.

How are people getting these things? Ordered mine the day orders opened (June 7) and they just keep pushing back the availability date. It's late December now. Ridiculous

I was waiting and watching Pyramyd Air for this rifle for some time now. Pre ordered this weekend. Hopefully I can get in on the next batch in December. Would be a great Christmas present

How is the weight? Is is reasonable for field carry (as in, maybe not worse than a Marauder for instance?) And what is your opinion of the synthetic stock, does it feel subsantial and comfortable or flimsy? It would be great to get some insight on the wood stock too, but you can't review what you don't have!
Also, I guess you're filling this from a small compressor? I still use a large carbon bottle, I can imagine making a spreadsheet that shows the shot count at different pressure levels as my bottle pressure drops over time. 250 bar....70 shots...240 bar...60 shots....etc.

The Avenge-X in .177 might make me buy another regulated gun! But only if it can shoot .177 quiet enough out of the box, as in Marauder or Akela quiet.
Having to buy and attach a moderator/add length is a deal killer for me.
However, the Avenge-X is checking most of my boxes! (smile)
