RAW Rapid Micro cool

The build quality is through the roof on this Micro compact!

First chrony string gave me 29 shots at 20 FPE (15.9g @ 760 FPS).

8 inch barrel has got some bark! Tamed it down with a Huma mod.

Side lever action is sooooo smooth, and the trigger is a-fricken-mazing.

More to come.

I love my RAW's and their built quality/accuracy/trigger, the Micro sure looks cool, but seems to have pretty limited uses.

I suppose you could add a SSG and almost double OEM shot per fill.
I would really like to have one, but I'm not rich and can't see owning one - a somewhat impractical airgun for the $$$;).

Removing the butt-stock on our HMx RAW's makes it a ginormous pistola! 😂 When tuning mine, that's what it reminds me of.....

Interesting, I have read mixed views on this gun. In my opinion some f it may be due to what is the real expectation for this one.

Compete with EVOL or Pathfinder. Different markets and expectations.
Agree, the Pathfinder XR, puts out more power, 25 FPE approximately 80 shots from a 250 BAR fill. But the Micro looks Boss just the same.

As much as I LOVE RAW's (fav all time full size PCP) because of Martin building each one, the Bro Pathfinder would be my choice of mini PCP...carbon fiber bottle, probably more efficient with O2, I also luv Brocock's builds....just my 2 cents!

Build your own, it’s just a short barreled raw

I love RAWs but I would say this one is a dud, why pay $1600 for this rifle with a metal bottle, low performance/shot count when you can pay under $300 for a Notos and get same performance? I’m not a fx fan but I would buy a panthera hunter over this if I was spending this kind of money , change my mind 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ 😊😊😊

Quite the statement… same performance? Out the box? The Micro will appeal to those also looking for ruggedness, a tool that will last more than a few seasons. It definitely looks sexy and capable… hopefully @Michael, will post up more information soon.

Not saying the notos is rugged or has the same build quality, etc.. like I said I love raws and personally I would never own a notos just saying for the price point seems like a bust to me… but you know what they say about opinions 😜

Seen & shot one at the Oregon State GP first of July. Was told #1 in the .177 caliber. person who owned it only having it a week or so before event, WON the Limited PFT class with it on it's FIRST outing !!!
Yea a pretty slick rig .. but as is ALL RAW's, could use some efficiency tuning done as it's LOUD and pretty Air thirsty.

I've not played with a Notos, but HAVE played with other budget options. So take this as generalizations....the entry-priced options are usually made with softer metal in important areas like trigger components, often have minimal to no aftermarket support (warranties/parts/service), and mystery barrels, among other negatives. A RAW on the other hand......well, the opposite.

If a guy is only looking at FPE as a metric for "performance," sure, the Notos and the RAW Micro might be similar, but in all other regards the RAW is gonna be roughly 5 times better ($300x5). As @L.Leon alluded to, the RAW will be performing at a high level in 15+ years, that Notos will be in a landfill. Factor in usable lifespan and the value between the two options in your comparison evens itself out.

You don’t have to sell me on raw I have owned one and know their quality is A1, not trying to compare the notos in quality just comparing statistics

Just joshing but here is the phrase Mark Twain popularized…

Lies, damned lies, and statistics
