Just saw this on a turkish airgunforum, my god that is a long rifle.

This model hasn't been out yet on the turkish market, i think it will come soon though.

@Asbestos

here you can see the owner of Hatsan doing chrony results. the gun is in 6.35mm

First 5 shots were using Hatsan Slugs 45 grains

Second 5 shots were using 34 grains JSB pellets.

I will buy the Factor Sniper L later this year and to me it looks like one of the most powerful air rifle on the market at factory settings?
I can't think of another air rifle with over 133 joules in .22 cal and 156 joules in .25? Anyone know a more powerful air rifle in .22 and .25?
Here are 2 pics that were released during IWA 2023 if I remember correctly, that shot show in Germany. From numbers listed between the Sniper S and L it seems the L gets about 175 more fps in .25 compared to the S but for .22 it's only 50 fps more. I do not know if the L is available in .177 nor if the S is available in .30 and .35.

I really want the Sniper L also in .25 caliber.

Shooting 44 grain slugs at 1000 fp/s is very impressive.

hello everyone, I'm new here but the owner of this beautiful airgun.
I just wanted to inform you that it is nice what the manufacturer states, but the truth is that the result is completely different. is much worse than stated because at the maximum setting of the weapon it reaches a maximum of 120 joules at 300 m/s and a 41 grain slug at 250 bars on the regulator, which is the maximum that can be set.
I have no idea if it's an internal defect. but the seller tells me that it's okay because the gun may not reach the declared performance.

250 bar on the reg seems like a ton... That much pressure seems like it would slam the valve closed really fast and might be working against you. Maybe try taking the reg down to 150 or so and tune from there, you might find that it works better for you.

I tested it from 145 bar to a maximum of 250 bar. at 145 bar 82j , 150 bar 84j 175 bar 94j 200 bar 98-110j depending on weight. setting 200 bar see photo

I can not understand why you would buy such a gun. It is an ugly thing, expensive to, €1200,-
Same price as the cheapest FX Boss or Crown.
I own two Hatsan's, build quality is really crap. Can not believe that they want so much money for such a piece of junk.

Sell it and buy something better.
well, I really wanted something more powerful than my kral shadow with my 80J tuning and I didn't expect it to be like that with the hatsan
and sorry but fx crown in 6.35 with 60j for 1800euro is really a lot for nothing

Ok, everybody think differently. The Hatsan kost €1195,- at Krale and the Crown VP also €1195,-
Would be an easy choice for me.

I wish you good luck with it.

I understand it, but it compares low power gun with high power gun. I was only pointing out that the manufacturer lied about performance. otherwise, compared to previous hatsan products, it has improved a lot in terms of material and production quality, only that it still can't deliver the performance it claims. the potential of this weapon and design calls for improvement

I'm a bit jaded with Hatsan. I don't care what the numbers say, in my experience. (laughably the numbers say this is comically over-weight and over-sized) But as far as accuracy or power goes... It's all smoke and mirrors. It's a game. How poor and how cheap can we build something, and how much over it's actual value can we con people into buying it for. Never seen any pride in workmanship in any of the ones I've owned. Just cheap and lazy through and through. YMMV But that has been my experience. Sure, it might make big power numbers. If you get really lucky, it might even be "accurate". But accuracy is only worth so much when the action and triggers run like trash. Overall making it unpleasant, tricky, or otherwise difficult to shoot "accurately".

Oh, and then there's the customer service. Or rather, lack of. Good luck.

Comment below hits the nail on the head.

I just got a Hatsan Factor BP in .30 for my kid a couple days ago, and I'm still tuning it.
It was set ridiculously high from the factory, the reg was at about 168 bar, and the hammer spring was turned all the way up. It was dumping a ton of air behind the projectile destabilizing it and it wouldn't group. I turned it down, and it's grouping pretty well now.
I'm still tuning it but it seems like it's going to be a pretty accurate gun.
It's definitely not the same build quality as my FX Dynamic, but it isn't too bad for the money.
I was looking at the AEA Challenger Pro in .30 for him, but the reports of magazines exploding in the face if the bolt wasn't fully locked was a bridge too far for me...
