Talk me out of a Benjamin Gunnar.

I know there are higher quality Pcp-rifles. This one keeps drawing my attention. Why?
jlk , I had one along w/ a Hatsan Factor. For the same $ , the Hatsan is much more gun. Carbon fiber tank , adjustable trigger , 3 position tranfer port & adjustable hammer spring and external reg adjustment. Lots more shots along w/ high capacity mags & single shot tray. My Brother bought the Gunnar , I don't miss it. Yes the Gunnar has a case & a 5 yr warranty. Oh, and a snap latch broke on the case ,,,, I'm still waiting on two replacements promised months ago .

Well if you're going to get one, get the one for $749 shipped brand new. They have it in 22 and 25 caliber.

Now that was an other gun that was supposed to make waves, so much chatter in pre-production,...now that they've been out a long time you hardly even hear anyone actually talking about them
I agree but it’s probably because most guys with a $1k gap on their credit card aren’t looking to buy a Turkish pcp. If they priced the gigantic thing where it should be, they would have sold enough that there would be forum chatter.

My thoughts exactly, I decided to up my game by just a few hundred more for the Brocock Concept XR and I'm glad I did.
I'm waiting for the Gunnar to become old stock and see how much the discount the price.

I truly appreciate the input from all. It did not go unnoticed. A member here and I came to an agreement on a Benjamin Gunnar. And soon, I will have said airgun in my possession. Looking forward to some trigger time. MACTEN and I had many lengthy conversations. I believe he and I will have several more. I hope we have created an airgun bond. I requested some airgun mentoring. I truly hope his and everyone else here's knowledge will continue to help me through my pcp journey. Thank you all, and thank you MACTEN.

So hows it been with the new setup? Update

I have really enjoyed the Gunnar. Life has prevented the trigger time I would like. I have tested JSB 25.39, HADES, and JSB 33.95 Mk II. It prefers the MK II at 820 fps. I do have other projectiles in route for testing. Now to find the range time.
Finding the hold the Gunnar likes and working on my technique is the key. My last group has proven its potential. Targets at 30 yds. off bipod after finding how it likes to be held. Ran out of time to go 50 yds.
I want to thank the AGN group for all the information I have found here.
