June Candy - Target Shooting Challenge

A Firebird would be epic! ;) 🤙
In my neighborhood, I would have helicopters flying by within 15 mins! 🤣

Putting these in fruit like an apple can be fun though!
But it happens so fast it's basically only good for filming

I pulled my best scope out and attached a tactacam on it. Its on my BSA Ultra CLX in .177 and still shooting under 12 ftlbs. Big scope looks funny on the little gun. 🤣

I probably should have edited it and upped the speed by at least double. It's a long 2 mins. If I have time I will do that. Same distance of 32 yards but not as blurry. I still need to figure out how to best take a video with a scopecam setup

For some reason i cannot find my 56 gr zan 30 cal pellets that way i could put this thing to use!

Important safety tip! It doesn't matter much if you are blowing off a Firebird 65, it get's peoples attention within a quarter mile. Apparently it sounds enough like a shotgun shot to wind people up, so I don't blame you for being cautious. (y)

Hi Y'all
June candy challenge today.
Hi wind day, shooting my old 1972, .20calguy, Sheridan Bluestreak.
I took the scope off the Gauntlet2. Its an Aim 6x24x30, and mounted it on the Sheridan. The gun is very hard to pump with this scope in the way.
Shooting 30 yards with JSB Extra Heavy 15.89's.
I wound up with two hits out of six. #1 appeared to be a miss at first, but the edge of the candy got touched and it was shattered.
I hope y'all enjoy.

Great entry, @.20calguy !! Maybe next time record pumping for the next shot once or so. There is a good chance that a number of people on here have never seen a pumper in action (Especially one putting out so much power)...so it would be good if they could appreciate what you went through for this entry. Again, great job! (y)

Thanks 👍
I always show pumpers to push hand to hand, because it is less strain on the old brass frame, but I had to pump with the left hand on the pistol grip because of the scope. I wound up straining a tendon or something on the inside of my elbow and couldn't spend a bunch of time messing with it. I still think that gun can achieve precision, but requires higher velocity/pump strokes.

Hi SkeeterHawk:
This one is by request.
Lol
👍

I got tired just watching that!

Maybe it's because I'm still at work.😵

I generaly pump it normally, but for the challenge I mounted a huge scope on it that made pumping it awkward. In looking for a way to pump it, I would knock it out of zero. So back to the little scout scope, and a new pump method while I heal. 👍

Great additional video, @.20calguy ! That definitely makes one appreciate your entry more! As Allen (@Healthservices) mentioned, you did good. I have never pumped any of my guns upside down like that, but it makes sense since you are using both hands to get it to compress.

Thanks again for posting that!! (y) (y)
Its tougher to pump than usual because of an upgrade by Mac1, called a Steroid upgrade.
My 55 is nice to pump because it is stock, and it has that nice and thin pump handle.

After the 1st shot it was apparent we would need before and after pics. These chocolate filled M's disappeared with each hit.
On Edit: M&M chocolate & peanut butter filled. No hard nuts, hence the splatters. Hot glueing to card stock paper worked really well.
Information added afterwards for the 2nd photo. (We were both using .22 Impacts with 18g JSB).
