FX Panther no-hype review and tests

Did you ever see 0.56 MOA and 0.29MOA 5 shot group to 107 yards in the open field one after another recorded in 4K 120fps video? FX Panthera showed me! Never got something like that before! .22 40gr 915 fps
I would never believe it if I didn't record it :)
Occasionally 😉 at 100m with the panthera inside and outside. Bipod Only, nothing on the back but my hands.
I have the carbon sleeve inside. Snugged it tight with some extra thin tape around it.
Still have the spacer on the front.

There is a group of 22lr benchrest enthusiasts here in Russia. They shoot usual airgun 100 yards benchrest target to 160 yards distance. As far as I was informed, their best result was 217 scores, which is amazing for that distance. I decided to try the same distance with my FX Panthera and 40gr slugs. I started from 10 shots group to 160 yards, that was 0.99 MOA! Than I've made a match and got 217 and 2x score! And that is to 160 yards! I'm very happy! The whole story and documentary video goes below.

My question was only because I use usual BR100Y targets size like on Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge or Extreme Benchrest - just to understand the size. Thank you for the information. Very good results. What Panthera setup and adjustments do you use?
I have made these targets long time ago, and printed 1000 of them. I'm still using them. 29.1mm comes from one MOA @ 100meters.
It's probably similar to your targets.
I have the gun at 150 bar. Replaced the piston part of the regulator few weeks ago because it was creeping. Now it's extremely consistent. Far more consistent compared to my other FX guns.
We have four Panthera's at the range, and we try to figure out the same things to compare the best results.

Micro is at 3.25ish. Most FX guns like the tune at that point where it just reaches the right speed. The Panthera seems to like a bit more hammer.
We shoot H&N 34 grain .218 and Javelins 34 grain .218.
We have tried .217's but the results were overall worse.
We can't get the ZAN's 33grain to shoot well.
Speed is around 990 tot 995fps.

Got the carbon sleeve installed last week. That made a difference. You never know where those bloody Orings are when you install the Liner. And I just hate taped solutions to keep them in place.

I clean the barrel with ballistol after every shoot. And I don't take the liner out anymore.
I have tried to leave the spacer out of the shroud, but the bullits clipped the muzzle adapter on the front of the shroud. I will mill that part down to a bigger size soon.

We are not alowed to rest the gun on the back on a sandbag. So I have made a kind of a click on stock.

Every time you want to play with your FX Panthera hummer weights or springs you will have to disconnect the rear part of a gun. It takes some time I would say. So I found an easier way (if you have a front bottle installed like I do). Just use a screw and a washer to lock the back air transport tunnel and feel much easier playing with your hummer side parts.View attachment 333009View attachment 333010View attachment 333011
what's the size of the screw ?
