I have found myself reading through a number of pages on this forum, so decided it would be a good idea to join.
I am over on the Eastern side of the pond, based in Robin Hood's home town of Nottingham. 🇬🇧
Currently got 25 airguns, mainly pistols with a mixture of 'traditional' airguns and replicas.
My most recent addition is a very nice Predom Lucznik spring pistol that I am planning on tweaking by knocking some of the rough edges off it and fitting a new spring and guides to tame the torquing from the firing cycle.

I love working on airguns as much as shooting them! 😁

Welcome aboard! Nottingham, huh? Can you do Robin Hood's trick of splitting a pellet with a pellet (he used arrows, of course).
But that's how pellets multiply. When a pointed pellet and a hollow point pellet really love each other....🤣
Bet I can never do it again AND catch it🥴

Here is one of my other recent acquisitions - another Soviet era springer, a Baikal MP-53. Looks like it has never been used and was complete with all the accessories in the original packaging. It is a bit agricultural, but with a bit of finessing I will be able to get it running much nicerView attachment 341083.
That Soviet springer looks like it was in a high speed collision with another gun!

Here is another of my recent purchases, it is a bit underpowered, but I am trying to remedy it with some online advice from a guy who has 'fixed' their FAS 6004, which has the same power plant.

It is very nicely made though, and is a pleasure to shoot, I just want it to punch round holes in the targets.
The MV is around 335 fps, so after 10m of flight what little bit of get-up-and-go it had has more or less got-up-and-gone... 😕

But it IS very nicely made! 😁

Schoolboy error. 🤦

I fitted a new breech seal last week, so of course it has settled in and some of the pressure against the breech face has been lost.
Re-set the barrel a little further back and the fps is back up in the mid 360's. The next challenge is to find out why it has started firing at the end of the the compression stroke when the top 'slide' is closed. Trigger adjustment is probably the solution.

It was a bit of a surprise the first time it happened though... 💩
