All New AirMaks Arms KRAiT!

Yes Maverick do better with a 100 BAR REG pressure and a +200 mm longer barrel.
The 20 grain Zan do 905 FPS and and +36 FT Lbs, another 100 FPS on top of that and they are smacking real good, but at least in the Maverick accuracy are not stellar at +1000 FPS.
The 13 grain on the other hand seem to fly well at 1060 FPS out of the Maverick.

The rifle makers from over there in that part of the world, they are not big on keeping their stuff updated, last i looked i was not able to find much in the way of charts / drawings ASO on my Vulcan 3

One thing I am a little bit disappointed in is the magazine*, the Katran and Krait share the same, I read a katran owner say it would not take the JSB beast ( in .22 ), which is 10.7mm*, subsequently I asked on a forum and was told by one owner the mag is 11mm max depth.
A 10mm ( 0.040) max would Rule out heavier slugs, (with around 30grain max) in the Zan , so no 33 36 or 40, there goes half my sample packs 🙄.
Not a deal breaker however.

Yeah as i figured, the REG are a bit low on the Vulcan 3, so at MAX hammer it only shoot the 20 gr Zan at 800 FPS and 28.5 FT Lbs.
I cant say what the REG are due to the primitive nature of the AGT guns as there are no readout for that, but i think it is below 100 BAR.
I have turned the REG a bit up and down, and i think i got it a bit too down last time i had it apart.

Shooting not least 16 grain it is evident that i need a bit more pressure to get a flat shot string as the hammer are at 100 %

I will try a couple of shots in my Maverick too just for the hell of it.

Hay Peashooter I just got my Uragan back from tuner and he said the Uragan 177 guns regulators are set at 80, at the factory, He turned mine up to 90 and my 10.65 gr pellets are shooting pretty flat at 960 FPS,, I bet my last dollar my Vulcan II in 177 is also set at 80 Its shooting 10.34 gr at 880 FPS..

Yep the baby caliber dont take much to push things to useable speeds.
The first thing i did with my Vulcan 3 was to up the regulator a little ( judged by turn of the screw on the REG as i have no means to actually test what it pass on )

I did wonder with my .177 Maverick, it was set to 90 BAR, but on hammer #7 it only pushed the 13.43grain redesigns at 590 FPS.
Okay it did stack them at that speed i must give it, and it absolutely did not want to shoot them any faster, that only happened when i upgraded from the factory 600 mm barrel to a 700 mm one.
The 600 mm barrel only really liked to shoot the beasts at speed, it also did that really good.
I cant recall what the little adjuster screw was set to, also for the first few outings i did not have a crono either, and when i got it, it would not register the MRD pellets as the high power profile in the FC pocket chrono start at 600 FPS.

1 thing is for sure the CZ barrel in the Vulcan, far better dealing with more models / brands of pellets and slugs, just with the current setup it only play really good ball with the heavier stuff 13 / 16 grains ( pellets ) i have too much REG pressure for establishing a flat shot string with lighter stuff.

KraitX unchoked barrel is confirmed to be a CZ barrel:

For me:
1) wanted a compact/powerful PCP that's easier to tune
2) already have a RAW HM1000x Gen1, smaller plenum
3) KRAIT has a larger magazine capacity
4) KRAIT is cheaper than the Prophet2.
I’m leaning towards the Krait X actually. Set up for slugs, 700mm barrel, can put a 700cc bottle on it and Krale will probably have them for like $1300 soon.

I looked real hard at the Prophet and the Krait , There is a pretty big price difference and I love the CZ barrels , But I already have a prophet in 177,25,and 30 in barrels, Its so easy to swap barrels I do not mind. I keep my regulator at at the same for all the barrels just a turn on the hammer spring gets me in tune from 30 caliber to 177, I also have the 700cc bottle on the gun and a spare 500cc bottle for the compact in 22 caliber,,If I was not so heavy invested in the RTI gun I think I would jump on this Krait if its got an external adjustable regulator , Not sure on the regulator anymore,

Just checked the Krale site! The Kraits are in stock! (about $300 cheaper than the US dealer--before customs tax)
Interesting... $300 bucks off, but add back ~$52 for the 4% Customs duties (plus maybe $40 for shipping), and available right now.

Too bad I just used up my new gun funds in buying my first Taipan Vet yesterday.

Now what could I sell...?
