Had the 2240 out today among others. I figure I better shoot the CO2 guns before it gets to cold.

Just got my HW75 today from PA. Got a few shots through it for testing while I continue to setup something for targets. It's easy to cock, quiet to shoot. Love it so far.

Shot the Crosman 1600 today. It's been awhile, and forgot how much fun it is too shoot. There is some power and accuracy in the little pistol. Definitely one of the best bb pistols ever made.

So I finally got the sliding door in the room in the lower part of my house clear of boxes, bugs and stuff I've stacked there over the years. Haven't opened that door in five years. Found out that it opens on the left, not the right so I'd set my pellet trap (Rubber Maid and rubber mulch) up at an angle to the door. D'oh! I'd measured out 30-ish feet. I just wanted to see if I could hit in the area I'd cut out for targets. At first, I thought I was completely missing, so I fired a few more. Turns out I was hitting it every time. Then I aimed for the UPC sticker and managed to hit that. So, I'm pleased that I'm not a danger to the community at large. This is a nice pistol. I'm thrilled I could hit anything. Now I'm going to put up targets, start overthinking it and miss horribly. I better buy more pellets.

Just received this Crosman 357 8 the other day. Like new. Package and sealed paperwork, magazine and pelloil. Have another with one blemish on the barrel.
It holds pressure and shoots good. Yay!

Got out the 2240 with a fresh CO2 and put some JSB 34gr Beasts through it. Pellet almost as long as the loading port. Was getting 325 fps and recoil a bit less than a heavy barrel 22LR target pistol. The pellets did NOT keyhole as I thought they might. Mediocre accuracy though..

Pouring rain today so I shot a Crosman 338 and one I did a 5.5 inch barrel extension on. Recreation room fun at 20ft.

New Umarex Ruger Mk4 replica. Was aware of reports of a crazy heavy trigger and it's certainly true (7-9 lbs maybe) but not as heavy as a double action PB revolver. Trigger pull was heavy but smooth enough with a decent break. Heard that silicone spray lube plus some graphite will lighten it 2-3 pounds, will try. About 2" grouping at 10m. 350 fps with 7.0gr Crosman Domed. Terrible low MV and inconsistent with heavier pellets more than 10.0gr or so, it's not a powerful gun. If the trigger were a bit lighter it would have good accuracy potential and it does look great.

Well, took my trusty HW44 for another spin today. First I tried head size sorting the pellets (JSB S100 match) because I was getting random fliers. Sure enough, in typical JSB style, head size was all over the place. I sorted out a bunch of 4.52 mm pellets that were previously sorted for weight. It was pretty easy shooting this 10 shot group at 8 yards in my basement. I'm beginning to like indoor shooting more than having to contend with weather and wind at the club range, even if it is in close.

Well another rainy day. Thank God for indoor ranges, pistols, low power springers and bb guns. It makes it so I can shoot every day.
Tonight after work did some chores and still had time to shoot one of my two Crosman 357 8. loaded up five 10 round cylinders. shot from 20 ft offhand.

Hello everyone,
Shot two different pistols this morning from my "inside the house Benchrest". First shot the Diana Bandit with a Red Dot and my best score was 176. This is OK for me at 81 years old using a Red Dot at 10-meters. Even with my glasses I just barely can see the circles.
Next I shot my Diana Chaser and shot a better score of 223 but the scope makes for a big help.
I really enjoy shooting pistols and love both of these guns.

Some indoor after work fun with a couple of my favorite revolvers
Crosman 38C .22 with these mods.
Five simple 38C mods
1. Drill the sleeve around the spring into swiss cheese like pattern. Creating more co2 volume * like the one in picture.
2. Open up / enlarge the exhaust port. creates more flow. *picture
3. Shim the magazine for a tighter fit to the valve
body
4. Adjust the barrel so it just
almost touches the magazine but dosen't bind. Stopping some of the loss of co2
5. Relocate the hammer spring guide pin to re-arch the spring, or a stronger hammer spring to open the valve a bit more when the hammer engages the valve.

Not sure what I did wrong on the lower right target but put two out of the ring. Shot 5 times at each of the five targets. I learned how to readjust the trigger and it works perfect now with a very positive 1st Stage and a much lighter pull on the 2nd Stage.
