My Taipan Veteran long .22 coffee laminate from Talon Tunes

It shoots as good as it looks.

Standard tube and shroud with a 24 inch .177 polygonal LW choked barrel, 10mm OD sleeved up to 15mm with carbon fiber. 125 bar reg (never messed with it) and consistent ES with 10.34gr @ 925 (20fpe)or 16.2gr @ 940 (32fpe). Plans to see if consistent ES will hold together at lower fpe also. Really cool to feel how much lighter and better balanced it is after shedding all that barrel mass and trading it for carbon fiber. OAL just under 34 inches. SWFA 20x scope.

Long tube and shroud with a 24 inch cut rifling .22 LW, unchoked barrel Power plenum. Reg pressure currently @ 140 and doing 890 was the Monster RDs for about 45fpe and 40 shots per fill. (Will do 960 with MRDs and reg of 155 bar). OAL 36inches at tips of curved butt plate. SWFA 20x scope.

Taipan Veteran.1648429136.jpg

My newly acquired Veteran Long .22 from a member here. Been moving my elderly parents last week, so not much trigger time. I did drop a blackbird about 60 yd. from top of a tree the first afternoon. Kinda set the bar high for me. Sorry for the crappy picture, but wanted to get it up here for those who had suggested the Veteran to me. I still like the Brocock a lot. Just 2 different purposes.

Taipan Veteran Standard in .25 and Compact in .22 .....Love my Taipans

Standard - two power plenums, huma regulator, re-worked air transfer ports, LW 24" polygonal barrel w/ re-worked shroud off a Veteran Long (to fit) Silent Thunder Ordnance moderator, Burris scope and old school Morgan re-coil pad. Shoots 48gr Griffin Ammo Boattail HPs with great accuracy.

Considering a 700mm .25 CZ barrel if they ever get them back in stock

Compact is a one power plenum, huma regulator with same re-worked air transfer ports, still has the CZ barrel - waiting on the machine shop to finish up an 18" Polygonal barrel. Weihrauch moderator, but its back to the STO Falx if my barrel ever gets done. Burris scope and same old school Morgan butt. Currently shooting 34gr Griffin Boattails, CZ barrel does slugs equally well.

^^^^^Really like your set up!!^^^^^. Where did your procure your gun holder you have in your tripod?? That is a must for tripod shooters.
My set up isn't very portable, but if I miss, it usually the squirrel dipping his head at exactly the same time I press the trigger.

Can't seem to attach photo.
Let’s try the mobile

cut the mount out of a piece of plate aluminum - its reasonably portable.

Bone stock Taipan Veteran Standard .25. Shoots 34gr KO's at 900 fps all day long. 30 inches long and 30 shots per fill. Holds air forever and all the slugs go in the same hole.

This is interesting to me, what diameter KO? I know in .22 they have a few different diameters (.216, .2165, .217, etc, etc)

Mine is .25, there is only one size offered. They work very well.
