Congrats man! Excellent gun.
On my .22 97K (top) I run a Sidewinder 30 4-16x50 on just an RWS Lockdown mount. My .177 97K (bottom) has a Vector Sentinel 10-40x50 with a set of Burris XTR rings and a UTG dovetail to picatinny adapter.

WOW. Is it a hassle to put a pellet in under the scope, or do you have more room than it looks like?

Not a hassle at all. You get used to it pretty quickly and muscle memory does most of the work for you.

This is my favorite scope now. I have five of them. Small, bright, low turrets, excellent haptic feedback clicks and designed for springers. Yep, HFT loves these scopes.

You have 5 of these scopes so you must feel that they are worth the price. I'm looking to try something new. I wish that there was somewhere local that I could handle one.
Would you mind posting a picture or two with this scope on an air rifle? Its specs make it out to be very compact.

Nice ITACUD. Let us know how it shoots. Deerstalker I was just looking at that scope. How long have you had it on your springer? My 95L has a 3-12 x 40 Athlon and I like it, but I need a new scope for another rifle.

SAFA sells 6,10,12 and 20 fixed power scopes as well as several variables. Tough but heavy scopes. Accurate turrets.

@Greenarrow I will take some pictures today at the range. My other favorite scope is the Hawke 2-7x32 Airmax. I will take some side by side shots for comparison.

Excellent gun. I have the black with stainless look in .22. Comfortable gun.
3 of my 97’s have Air Max scopes, 2 have Element. I like the Element better only because the clicks are way more pronounced. Enjoy. Crow

Here is a HW77 and a HW95 with the Optisan CP scope. The HW50 has the Hawke Airmax for reference.

An unexpected update on this thread! The CP scope on my HW95 decided to go on vacation 25 degrees to the left! I thought maybe I had not tightened my scope rings in forever, maybe they were loose. WRONG! The reticle was pointing the wrong way, the scope was tightened down. So, I get to see how good an Optisan warranty is.
