Uragan 2 is coming

The sequal to one of the best selling AGT rifles.

The Uragan or "Hurricane" is the premium quality PCP rifle from AGT Airgun Technology. The 2 features a CZ-made barrel that has been expertly crafted for the incredible accuracy AGT is known for.

The URAGAN 2 takes many of the features of the Vulcan 3 and mixes them with the original URAGAN. So you can expect amazing rear-biased balance for amazing shouldering and operation.

One of the biggest visual changes is the addition of a new moderator. The 38mm wide sound moderator is constructed within a single outer piece, with the moderator’s body inside similar to that of the Vulcan 3. this also means that the same AGT 14mmCW Silencer is fully compatible with the URAGAN 2 and blends in perfectly.

Other external changes include the newly designed adjustable sports trigger for enhanced response and feel and the 20MOA sloped Picatinny rail for long-distance shooting.

The bottle of the Uragan 2 compact now features a 52cm³ power plenum taking the total air capacity up to 1060cm³. The gun is fitted with a top and under mounted Picatinny (RIS) rail for sights and accessories.

The trigger of the Uragan is crisp and precise and the synthetic stock is perfect for outdoor use where its hardwearing nature makes it almost immune to damage.

The side level can be changed from right-to left-handed with ease as this does not require additional tools. This again, makes the Uragan 2 completely ambidextrous.

The Vulcan 3 was also advertised heavily to have a CZ barrel but Airgun Technology pulled a bait and switch on some of us and substituted another manufacturer's way oversize barrel that makes the 700mm .30 V3 unsuitable as an advertised "slug gun". You have the option of buying specialty slugs from one manufacturer at 3x the cost of common size slugs, shoot lighter skirted slugs or pellets. Airgun Technology ignores emails when you tell them they did not provide what was advertised.

I'll rebarrel mine to make it into what AT advertised and only be out a couple hundred bucks but it's bad business to lie to and ignore your customers. Doesn't exactly instill loyalty. Who wants to roll the dice for $1500-$1700 ? You may get an awesome one or you may get stuck.

I'm glad that I purchased my 4 uragans before this second batch came out n before the Vulcan 3 was released.. all 4 caliber shooting slugs flawless .. really hate to have problems with the guns, that why I'm trying to be more aware of what I'm buying.. sad that you ended in that position with your purchase , because the reason you spent your money in a AGT product was to avoid this problem in the first place.

Sorry you are dealing with the barrel issue heavy impact, AT could definitely up their communication game. I have decided to hold off on a dedicated slug gun (700mm Barrel) with the slug inventory at slim pickens and slug shooting still in it's infancy, I am re-evaluating the long distance slug shooting I thought I wanted to jump into. Still interested in the Uragan 2 and future semi-auto, but for now just going to be happy with my large .177 pellet inventory and what I have.

The Uragan 2 Compact is going to have a a very large CF bottle.

Good catch.
