I don’t hear many members talk about the Pro Sport. Had my .22 out today, and what a pleasure to shoot.

This gun always gives top performance. It feels great to hold.

And the trigger has little resistance. No warm-up necessary.

I find cocking this rifle, no problem. I have no kits in it, don’t really need it.
‘This is 5 rounds 35 yds. Hades pellet.

The washer is size same as dime. The painted shot at 10 o’clock was target. Also got #45 nutter with this intravenous applicator today.
I have several springers, I like them all, but nothing is as consistent as this PS. I think it’s also has the best looks award.

Does anyone else find the Pro Sport a similar pleasure. Crow

Crow, did John in Pa perform his magic on this one? Nice gun and shooting.

Love the Pro Sport. Have mine tuned to 12.8 lbs and it's a joy to shoot. Neil Claque suppressor keeps it quiet. I love my PCPs too, but the PS is something special. Wish I had a walnut stock as nice as yours. Even with a plain old beech stock, like mine, it's the sharpest looking springer I know of. I also wish I was as good a shot as you--with a stock spring and set-up, that's just phenomenal.

Stevie ya how can you go wrong. I didn’t get into PCP’s, and dam good thing. I ran out of wall space.
One of my 200’s is Beech. Wish I could get a suppressor, Illegal hirer 9n Canada
As far as the good shooting. (Another five minutes I’m gonna ask you to stop talking that way), seriously lots of luck involved. Crow

They're easier to cock if you put the butt on your left hip (or leg if seated) and pull with your left hand as usual. It just is......

Tell me if I'm wrong!

KWK That’s right. I have no problem with cocking the PS. As a Mather of fact I have a more difficult time cocking the 200’s. Breaking the lever away from the barrel. Crow

Hello Crow,

That is a really nice looking rifle and obviously a great shooter.

ThomasT

ThomasT thanks and lucky moment. Crow

Man that's a sweet looking rig you've got there. Nice work on the shooting also.

Brent thanks. Crow

I have one in .22 and one in .177. Both are a dream to shoot.

I agree that they are special. The .177 was originally a Paul Watts tuned rifle. The spring eventually broke and I replaced it with a Vortek PG4 kit. It is a near one hole rifle, too.

Thanks for sharing.

bdzjlz I have the .177 as well and same deal. Crow

It’s in my wish list. I send it to my wife all the time. 22 cal, walnut.

The ultimate spring gun!

nice shooting by the way. She shoots as good as she looks :D

BryanH you won’t be disappointed. Thanks and good luck. Crow

Another PS fan here. My .177 is my most accurate spring gun and by far the best looking. Mine is tuned to about 11fpe.
R

EMrider enjoy your PS. Sweet rifle. Crow

That's a fine looking rifle. I've always liked the way stock conceals the under lever.

Moog you have to like the engineering on this one. Not a smoke screen. It shoots as good as it looks. Crow

shambozzie no John didn’t. All I did was clean it, I have a few kits, just no time to install. And thanks. Crow

I really like my PS and decided to try a custom stock. Made my own pistol grip cap of rosewood and brass and hope to try it at a FT match this year. I also replaced the factory spring for a lighter wire one that reduced cocking effort as well as recoil, it still makes ~13.5fpe.

That's a nice stock, DMM. Holy smokes. I hear you on the lighter wire spring. B/c the PS is so easy to work on, I auditioned 2 or 3 different springs and finally settled on one from ARH--the 4600 I think, but don't quote me on that.

What a sweet looking rifle. IMO the Pro Sport is drop dead gorgeous, best looking rifle manufactured today, a classic.

John8.thanks and I absolutely agree with you. Crow

DualMagMike nice jewelry on the stock. Outstanding collection. Thanks for teasing me. I want a custom stock so bad but I’m following a plan. Still have several more spring kits to score, then I can buy some custom stocks. If I can grease my hands I would love the make one from scratch.
‘Good luck Crow

I’ve had several PSs in multiple calibers (.177, .20, and .22) over the years and, aesthetically, they can’t be beat by anything else in a springer format. Eventually, I preferred the more ergonomically friendly cocking mechanism of the TX, as the PS cocking lever just felt odd to me. It also can develop a cocking lever that droops a little because it won’t lock up tight. This can be remedied by a recessed magnet but it just became irritating to me and I ended up selling them all. However, they are lookers and shooters for sure.
